Texas

Proud and independent minded, Texas is known as the Lone Star State, having once spent a short tenure as an independent nation before joining the United States. The second largest state besides Alaska, Texans are a fiercely proud people, who enjoy their steaks extra large and their music with country style. Much of the state is large expanses of plains and desert, though several small towns, large cities, and Mega-cities dot the landscape inbetween the vast stretches of emptiness. The heat is often above 100 in the summer, though the low humidity makes it not quite as noticeable.

Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower

At approximately five feet, this elderly man seems to be within his slight eightys, if not older. The hair is rather short, adorned with blackness and greyness. Beside the head is a short, tannish hat. The eyes are deep hazel, and the frame is rather average. The creamy skin is reduced to wrinkles.

Dressed in a tannish explorer's jacket, he has a blue shirt underneath. He would bear a black cane by his side. Down to his legs are a pair of tannish slacks, with a pair of black boots made for exploring.

Split Mushroom

----------------------------<Split Mushroom>--------------------------

One would wonder of the small creatures within the world. Reploids exist in all shape and form. However, this plant-like creature was made once before the bioroids were made.

Youth is of innocence, but hides the darkness.

The lad is standing at about 4' tall, the reploid's body is oddly shaped. To the top of the area is a large hat shaped like the mushroom. The orange-yellowish figure has a pair of antennas towards the side, held on by a thick pink ring. Down the hat is a lining which seems to have a compartment. Down towards the end of the ploom-like hat is an ivory band around it, with two sea blue rings around it, as well as two more to the back. Within those rings is a yellow glint of light. Down at the edge of the ploom-like hat would feature small, yet thick bolts of sea blue hue.

The body is shaped like a bean of a peach hue. Underneath the hat are a pair of topaz optics, with red edges to the bottom. However, they would seem to fade at an innocent look. From the head features some sort of a green snorkel. The arms are cascaded with a dark blue hue all the way to the other half of the arm. The arm plate is of a red-orange hue, covered with a green band near the elbow. As it reaches towards his hands, the plate grows thicker. Down to the hands features whiteness. However, there are a red light featured on each hand. Down from the body is a chrome utility belt. The buckle of the belt is of a blue hue, shaped of a shield in the pentagonal shape. To the middle of the buckle is of violet hue.

Down to the small legs are of dark blue hue. The boots are covered with an orange plate, with a blue ring with the yellow glint to the middle. Down from the casting features the tannish footplate, being attached with the rest by a pair of thick bolts. At the edge of the footplates are sea blue.

<Global News Network> News Reporter plays a message: The image is set in Houston Texas, with a pick up truck and alot of men loading up together. They are setting themselves in the area. The camera focuses on an old man. "Greetings, I'm Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower. I am in need of assistance. I am explorwing the town of El Paso, which was destroyed a few months back. Now that I hear that it is a ghost town, I am curious upon its secrets... However, I feel unsafe without anyone around to fend off whatever killed the humans inside. I will be near the dreaded town..." *Click*

The scene is taking place about a mile from the town of El Paso. It would seem slightly peaceful, if not for the eerie chills that could be felt from the distance. Within the open road lies a few duneish looking jeeps. One of the people in the jeeps that would be recognizable from the news would be Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower. Sigh, he is wiping a sweat from his brow. One could imagine the anticipation that is going on. What is the cause of the sudden ghosts in El Paso?

Auto comes in on a rented hovercar from the west. He saw the news broadcast about his Dr. Eisenhower and the ghost town, and was intrigued. Hopefully, Light won't object to him checking this out...

Quick Man enters the scene, using his trusty legs as always. Not actually coming to help the Dr., he just wants to check things out, maybe meet a real ghost, and just have fun.

Bowie is riding shotgun in one of the other jeeps in the convoy, keeping his eyes open for any trouble along the way. Not that he expects much on this stretch. Since the destruction of El Paso, there's been precious little to see out here. His expression is impassive, keeping the others from seeing the emotions welling up inside. He never called El Paso home, but part of his Ranger Company was stationed in the city. That would explain why he's here, assisting the Dr. Von Eisinhower.

Bolero comes a rumbling along at 150 mph, no apparent means of propulsion sending him jetting along... Wait, if you listen real close, you might hear continual sonic booms. He jets along, hidden underneath thick, figure obscuring power armor, systems ready to rumble, quite literally. Wait, what's this? Bolero's playing some sort of music... Oh jeez, he's playing the Ghostbusters theme song as he heads towards Dr. Eisinhower.

Metal Man follows upbehind Quick Man smirking. "Well Bro, Prehaps we will have another Raccoon City on our hands again. I could use a Zombie or Ghost stomp myself."

Pooky Doo has arrived.

Dust Man drops Pooky Doo.

Ring Man the dirty swindler that he is has come because he is quite interested in seeing if there is any money to be made from thsi 'ghost town'. He's sure there is, there's money to be made from anything so long as you try hard enough. He's wearing a long trench and a rather stylish fredora trying to hide his identity while getting a closer look.

Dust Man sorta just strolls in on the convoy, looking very relaxed. The green shirt has a few grease stains on it, but, functionally, he looks like Shaggy. He looks over at his best buddy, Scooby/Cent. "I hope they got some good food, maaaan. Cause I'm starving."

Scooby Doo looks at Dust Man, aka Shaggy "Rea, rood!" it doesnt sound too professional. Is all the giant dog says. He licks his lips, and sniffs around, but his nose isn't as good as the real thing though.

Lowering his head towards the ground, the old man ponders. The hands are just tapping together a few times. "Hrm....I wonder. What will we find in there...?" The eyes become sullen while he ponders. However, realizing some travelers heading his way, a smile curls to through the beard. "...Ah....More people to assist me."

[OOC] Split Mushroom says, "Oh yes, Blooper sent. ^_^"

Metal Man shakes his head at Dusty and Scooby Doo. "You guys got gltiches in your logic centers again don'tcha?"

Bolero launches up into the air, executing a somersault. He lands in a pneumatic sounding crouch beside the good doctor, his face unseen. A mechanical, but Spanish accented voice echoes from within his helmet, "You requested assistance, Herr Doktor?" he inquires curiously, accent shifting to German as he gets to the last two words.

Quick Man slows down to Metal Man's speed so he can keep up, "Raccoon City? Well, I hope it'll be as fun as I heard that was. Real ghosts! I wonder if we can fight real ghosts." He rubs his chin, "Hmm.. But if they could hurt people, then we can probably hurt them, so it's ok!"

Auto finally brakes the car and pockets the keys, walking over to the doctor. "Heya Doc Eisenhower. You needed some assistance to poke around the city?" The Light-bot grins, but you can see some of the fear in his eyes. Ghosts never sat well with him...

If Bowie has an answer to the good doctor's question, he's keeping it to himself. He gives Bolero a wave in greeting, though his smile never quite forms. "Howdy!" he calls.

Shaggy glares at Metal, and his voice cracks. "Hey, maan. I think you need to chill out." He then strolls over to the old dude and listens to what he has to say.

Ring Man blinks at Dhaggy a Ccooby. Pulling the Fedora lower on his brow he moves closer to the Doctor. Hoping to hear something that he can turn to his profit margin.

Metal Man nods to Quick Man. "It was a real bloodbath, the living dead were everwhere. Slag Heat and I had to save Mega Man in that mess. I mean what is it to losing him to being a Zombie. He is ours to take out in battle. Come on lets get going bro..."

Metal Man nods to Quick Man. "It was a real bloodbath, the living dead were everwhere. Slag Heat and I had to save Mega Man in that mess. I mean what is it to losing him to being a Zombie. He is ours to take out in battle. Come on lets get going bro..."

The Vanguard comes sailing out of the western sky, and within, Iris is checking and re-checking the scanners...there's some pretty weird activity in that El Paso area! She descends for a closer look...

Scooby follows his buddy as always, he responds "Rea, Rill out. EHehehehe" goes the canine, as his nose starts to act up, maybe it's food, but maybe it's not.

Smiling towards Bolero, he can recognize the Repliforce Insignia. A nod is given towards the Repliforcer, "Aye, I am in need of help. I am quite grateful." Auto is given the attention as well. In fact, the old man nods. "I thank you for being here..." Adjusting his sights at the others, he stands up while stepping out of the seat. "...I would like to thank you all for assisting me in this exhibition. I would like to say that we will find this trip dangerous. But, we will unlock this great mystery...." Sigh, the eyes drift back. "We will begin the trip to the City.. Move out!" He waves an arm, signalling for the other vehicles to follow.

A roar of the engines sound through the road, as they are beginning to move north towards the wrecked city which is now a Ghost Town.

Bowie leans back in his seat again, pulling his hat down low. Obstenably, it's to keep the sun out of his eyes.

Quick Man follows the trucks, but keeps with Metal Man's pace, only now noticing the wierd peeps, "Sheesh, and people call /me/ wierd!" He says as he takes out a small portable COFFEE!(TM) holder and starts drinking a cup.

Auto fishes out his keys from his chest compartment after giving the Doc an enthusiastic salute. "You got it, doc!" He then makes his way back to his rented hovercar and hops back in, revving it up again and making his way toward the city, following the other vehicles carefully. After all, it's not his car, sooo....

Bolero nods sagely to Dr. Von Eisinhower, hopping onto the roof of one of the jeeps in the caravan. How a large reploid can avoid crushing the jeep is questionable, but he manages it. B waits patiently for it enter into the city.

Dust Man sighs, and hops in the back of the Jeep. "Come on, Scoob. Don't wanna get left behind!"

Ring Man takes a running leap into the backk of one of the jeeps. Effectively hitching a ride. Pulling out and flashing the driver some false credentials from inside his jacket there is no arguement. Taking a look at the creds he flashed, as he has many forgeries. He sees that he's pulled out, randomly his 'H. Lionel Ringmin paranormal investigator' card. He couldn't remember when he made it, but he suposed it would have been for just such an occation.

Scooby follows his pal Shaggy "Reft Rehind? Ruh uh!" goes the dog, as he leaps into the jeep.

Iris sends a radio transmission.

Bolero receives a radio transmission from Iris.

Bolero sends a radio transmission to Iris.

Iris receives a radio transmission.

Metal Man follows the pack muttering about why in the name of Wily is he here. "So whgat is exactly going on here in the ruins of this city? Anyone care to fill me in on this?"

The vehicles are touring through the road. The pace of the travel is smooth. However, as it ventures deeper into the depths of the city, the atmosphere reveals itself to become more gloomy. The essence of darkness reign within the city. A low, haunting chill breathes hard within the destroyed town. Darkness is alive, and the sounds echo of shrieks and howls.

The city itself reveals itself to be in rubble. The streets itself reveals a bumpy and cracked passage. Many things are amidst the town. Lovely, this is where Hell on Earth would be. The smell of the town gives the stench of burning corpses and moistness.

This is where the jeeps begin to stop. The Doctor gives a low sigh as the vehicle halts. He slightly waves his hand out, signaling for all passengers to step out. Being the first to exit of course, he presses the cane to the ground, awaiting for others to step out.

Not long after him, at least three more explorers exit. One would be a man of the Arabian description. He is dressed in the same archeologist type of suit as his comrade. This man would be Mohammad Os Gavis. Both arms are pressed on his hip, a grin is curling in satisfation. "Lovely."

The next one to exit is a feminine lizard, full of blue synth-scales. She has streaks of frost covering her body. Blizzard Lizard. The arms are slowly folding together, the expression on her visage is rather cold.

The last one to exit is the same bat who is now shivering, Inferno Bat.

Auto stops his hovercar and sets it on standby, the car hovering just above the ground to avoid any possibly sharp landings and such, and treks off toward the convoy, enthusiastic...but someone hesitant...

Shaggy steps off the van. "Maaaan... I don't why I ended up coming here, man." He looks at Scooby. "You go fisrt, Scoob. I'll watch your back!"

Bolero grabs the edge of the jeep, spinning over and landing easily. He clomps across the terrain, stopping before Doc What's-his-name? and folds his arms across his chest. "Now what, Herr Doktor?" he inquires curiously, optics shifting back and forth under the helmet, trying to take in as much of the environment as possible.

Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower has left.

Split Mushroom takes Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower.

Split Mushroom has left.

Quick Man yawns audiably, and stops, "Ah, this isn't as exciting as I thought it would be." He says, even though it haven't even started it... Could it be...? Naaa... "I'll just go fulfill those orders you gave me Metal, and then go for a recharge. Cya laters bro!" He says, shaking his head at Shaggy and Scooby before running off.

Ghost Town (El Paso)

The area where El Paso, Texas resides, a medium sized city in its own right, now lays in a slowly burning heap. Buildings are toppled, roads up-turned. It is like from the direct center of the city, the Downtown District, a wave of force just shot outward, rendering everything it connected with into dust. It is in every way a wasteland, and one that will never be fully recovered. Things have turned for the worse. The Dead Zone now emits a haunting feeling through the atmosphere. Welcome to the Ghost Town formerly known as El Paso.

Bowie hops out of the jeep, his boots raising a small cloud of dust. His hat is still pulled down low, and he is most definitely not smiling. The doctor's research aside, he knows there's ghosts here, at least for him. He moves to join the rest of the group, falling into laconic mode for now.

Ring Man gets off the jeep. Strangly the driver of the jeep, a young blonde haired human guyand the other passanger of the jeep a grizzeled fat man carrying what appears to be recording equipment of some kind stay close to him. Guess that the credentials were pretty convincing.

Walking over to the doctor, Ring Man's shadows in tow he remains silent. He has yet to see anything that he can use to his profit... but looking around at the desolation there must be something here. Something strong... Something he can make a lot of money from.

Scooby looks at Shaggy as he's told to go first, and begins whimpering. How brave of him.

Auto just continues walking after the scientist trio, wondering what shall befall the group in this desolate town of dust and shadows.

Iris makes her way, within the Vanguard, toward where the jeep has disembarked so she can rendezvous with Bolero. Making her way through the gloomy city, she tries not to feel TOO creeped out...but it's difficult.

Interrupting Richard as he plans to speak, Mohammad grunts, "What do we do now? This is what we do. We search for the clues of this case, exterminate any ghosts, and find whatever tr--" *WHACK* "OW!"

Calmly, Richard withdraws the cane. "Patience and enough." Smiling faintly towards Bolero, he sighs, "We must move through. This town is dangerous. Just about anything can happen."

Blizzard Lizard pats the old man reassuringly. With a calm smile, she explains, "We'll explore the area, and find anything needed. This may be interresting if there are actual ghosts. If not, then we'll expose a fraud."

Shaggy blinks. "Hey, man! Like, what do you want us to do?"

Auto simply continues to walk on, switching gazes between the scientists and the rest of the convoy. He then turns to Dr. Eisenhower. "What do you guys plan on doing if there really are ghosts? I know it's unlikely, but what if they really do exist?"

Bolero raises a brow, unseen by those who are watching him, at the cane whack. o0(Do all human scientists possess that capability?) he muses to himself, before returning his attention to the leaders of this expedition. "Veo. Perhaps we should, therefore, split up?" he inquires curiously. "Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma, you go that way." he gestures towards Blizzard, before pointing in the shadowiest, creepiest direction possible. He then glances at Iris, "Meanwhile, Daphne, Auto, and myself will head that way... The rest of you can go that way." He points in two more directions, ever expecting some creepy, hare-brained ghost to pop out from nowhere.

Over towards Shaggy, he smiles. "Well, we will all probably have to split up in order to cover more ground." He glances around, "This is a big town, and anything can happen.." Shifting his head towards Auto, he ponders. "Well, I guess we'll have an interesting story to write about, no?" He chuckles, then he ponders, "Maybe they'll be exposed to the people, and maybe they won't be ignorant of the possibilities that this would has to offer."

A growl is given by Mohammad, then he throws his hands roughly into the air. "The Hell with this!" I'm going on my own!" He sneers, "F*** this. If I find anything, I'll be the one famous." He starts to rush off.

Blizzard gives a frown. "Foolish he is." To quote Yoda. She shakes her head at the thought, then she says, "We better---" Before she can finish her sentence...

A loud scream can be heard, with a loud gush echoing.

Centaur Man jumps, and screams "Roinks!" He jumps up into Shaggy's arms. He's shivering, and shaky too. How brave of him.

Bowie starts at the scream, turning towards its source, one hand alrady reaching for his pistol. Edgy? Whatever gave you that idea? "Whut the?"

Bolero just said all that, damn senile old doctors... They always steal the work of the underlings. He raises a brow at Mohammad, "Leaving so soon? Po' bebe having a temper tantrum?" he calls sarcastically, before returning his attention to the others. He blinks a moment, cocking his head to one side at Blizzard Lizard, "Indeed, foolish yes is he." he replies calmly, in a distinctly Yoda voice. He blinks a moment, turning towards the scream, the air around him getting slightly hazy... Nothing to really notice, not yet at least. "Chingao." he hisses.

Dust Man grunts. "Like, that's creepy enough for me." He puts Scooby down, and laughs nervously. "Maybe it was, like, just a water balloon." Voice cracking.

Auto blinks at the scream...and cringes at the echoing gush of something very unpleasant. "That can't be good...." He frowns, then digs into his chest compartmant for his blowtorch and a helmet. He's heard the supernatural don't like fire...but then again, maybe he shouldn't trust RPGs for the weaknesses of the undead. Either way, he's wary now. "He....he's okay, right doc?"

Quickly shifting his direction at the sound, the visage becomes more sullen and frightful. "...Oh no... That sounded like Mohammad!" He starts to run the best he can towards the direction of where the brashful explorer left.

Blizzard, showing concern, murmurs, "Wait, sir." She is in persuit of the old man as well. "I won't let you get killed sir."

As they start to explore what is up ahead, they notice a path of liquid. The stench of the blood has not set in as of yet. The path of the crimson liquid leads to the body. What was once of Mohammad is reduced to nothing more than mutilation. The once dark tan skin is now full of scars and reshaping. The nasal is launched up, as the wound on the top of the head is deep enough to expose the skull. To the mouth features the mini-gyser of the fluids exiting the body. A deep gash is given towards the chest, exposing the ribcage's skeletal structures. The arms are ripped off and scattered, and the legs are bent out of proportion.

An inch from the body reveals to be a large fiend. The fiend is about translucent, save for the mechanical parts, but that is whiten. The translucent beast is covered with full mechanical pieces, and it appears to be nothing more than a large head with heavy fangs. Though, beyond the head is revealed the large, and bulky body. The claws are expanded towards the ground, deeply grasping upon the ground. But all what is mattering at the moment is the crimson stained teeth, slowly dripping of the blood. Not only that, but the optics give off a deep ruby glow.

Bolero jets along, easily outpacing the other two explorers. He skids to a halt, emitting a gasp. "... madre de Dios..." he whispers under his breath, quickly crossing himself with his right hand. His left arm rises up, hand already retracted into his arm cannon, "Diablo! Diabolico... te asesino." he states slowly, air rippling around his arm cannon as he aims. "Do not move, diablo."

Shaggy yelps in fear, and runs off the other way. "That's it man! No pay or food is worth this, man!" He takes off away from the alley. On to objective two. Hehe.

Bowie follows after Doc, Blizzard, and company, drawing his e-pistol somewhere along the way.

What they discover at the trail's end is enough to give him pause. He's seen a lot of gristly things in his life, but this is an entirely new level of gruesome. The masked RF'er has summed up the situation quite nicely. He scowls at the demon/ghost/whatever it is, leveling his pistol at it, just daring it to move.

Scooby follows Shaggy as fast as he can, "Raggy! Rait for re!" Scooby Doo isn't going to stick around, not even for Scooby Snacks!

Auto eeps, stepping back at the trail of blood, then hurring behind the now trio, the fourth member dying in a gruesome manner. FInally, he lays his eyes on the beast and jumps back, landing on his fat aft onto some rubble. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" he screams in language far from befitting a good little Light-bot.

Metal Man looks up at the massive monster and already has a Metal Blade in his hand. "It does not matter what it is. It's dead scrap, that's What! Come on you freak just do something to make me have to shoot you." Ah yes finally something for Metal Man to do. At least this mess is not boring any more.

In Response of Bolero's warning, the monster releases a thunderous roar to echo through the atmosphere. That'll probably give a signal to the other creatures lurking in the town of an intruder. However, that isn't the importance now.

Worriedly, the Richard is heading behind the people. "...This...is....so....horrible..."

In response towards the monster, Blizzard Lizard is drawing her hands towards the ground. The ground slowly begins to freeze up near her as the nitrogen is generating. Suddenly, each step would produce a gyser to crush the monster.

Unfortunately, that isn't the case as the Guardian Boss rears his head high. The energy is molting its way through. Then, it is taking shape of flames, which is dancing around the tongue. The monster droops its head towards the ice, before releasing the flaming beam towards the glacial wave. The glaciers are melting, and the flames are striking Blizzard Lizard. A howling shriek is given from her as she is burning. The circuitry can't take the overheating, so she explodes into heap.

"...Blizzard....No..." That was Richard's colleague and guardian. She was his favorite, a reploid who he treasured most. Lowering his head, he is staring at the monster.

It dawns on Bowie that his little pistol isn't going to do squat against something like that. Even so, he moves to put himself between the fire-creature and Richard. "Get outta here, Doc!" he orders in the authoritative voice you'd expect of a former policeman. "Go!"

Dust Man sighs, and looks at Scooby. "I got an idea. Find something to eat, and then, like, get out of here, man." He kneels down next to Scooby. "That sound good, pal?"

Auto panics even further as the monster destroys the Lizard Lady. However, he realizes something. He's a Light, blast it! He's part of the Maverick Hunters, an elite force! Is he just gonna lie down for some weird monster?! Heck no! So with a growing resolve, Auto pokes into his chest compartment, and pulls out something rather large. The Grand Auto Cannon. Time to put this baby to use. "Foul being, return to the pits from whence you came..." And so the cannon charges ominously...

Metal Man calls out. "The Hunter is right Doc, get out of here and we will deal with the trash." Metal Man likes to fight but does not get kicks by sniping down civilians normally that is. Besides the old man would get in the way, then he comments. "Auto its not going to listen to us. You know how it is, its like how you folks refuse to listen to Wily." With that lobs the Metal Blade at the monster. "Time to dance ya freak!"

Bolero leaps to one side, rolling out of the way of the heat wave. He blinks, looking at a char marking on his shoulder. "Hey, this was un traje nuevo." he grumbles, quickly standing up. "C'mon... Where do we go now?" he mumbles quietly, glancing at a still standing wall. That could work. He rushes the wall at speed, bouncing up and rolling backwards slightly in mid-air, before continuing to run up the wall. All the while he's running, Bolero is doing a damned good Xena yell. He flips backwards, executing a half-gainer as he flies through the air. As he does so, the sound from the shrieking and the roaring flames fuels Bolero. The air around him shimmering and rippling like nobody's business.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLERO BLAAAAAAAAAAADE!" comes a rebel yell, the shimmering air quickly collecting in front of his left arm. The air quickly takes the shape of a sword, seeming to solidify, as Bolero descends downward, attempting to run the beast through with a sonic blade of potentially devastating power.

Gemini Man has arrived.

Centaur Man nods "Rah, Rah! Rood Idea!" he goes to Shaggy, still on the lookout for more monsters. If only he took his trusty box of Scooby snacks with him, and if only they were just guys in costumes.

Auto looks toward Metal, but doesn't answer, instead aiming carefully. Then, reaching into his archives of various sound clips, he finds the appropriate one, a certain Austrian Action star from the 20th century, uttering the classic line:

"Hasta La Vista.....baby."

Then the trigger is pulled, and a massive blast of energy spurts forth from the gun, the recoil sending the mechanic back a bit, but luckily not enough to send him off balance.

Creeping its way into the towards the two, there is a large hand arising. The large hand is slowly scraping itself through the ground. The head then lashes out towards 'Shaggy' and 'Scooby'. The long neck can be seen passing through, the translucent creature has a large head, with a jewel glimmering. The creature sneers towards both of the members.

As for the old man, he is running back to get away, "Very well..." He frowns, not wanting t leave the people, but maybe this will get him out of the scene.

The monster is getting ready to chomp down at the reploid, Bowie. However, first the head is struck by the Metal Blade. The monster grows irriated, but it won't stop it. the fangs are sliced over by the sound blade, thanks to Bolero. Not only that, but the Auto Cannon strikes it, causing the creature to suddenly burst into nothingness, then it explodes.

Auto cheers, his cannon jumping around on his shoulder as he bounds up and down. "WHOO HOO!!! I BEAT IT!! I BEAT IT!!"

Metal Man grins under his faceguard. oO(Ah a hunter who knows how to get down to business perfect.) Metal Man watches the monster vanish and dusts his hands. "That was too easy."

Bowie raises his gun arm to shield his face as the creature explodes, his hat whipped off somwhere into the ruins. Once that's over, he crouches down next the poor unconscious Blizzard Lizard. "Auto, over here. Can ya help her?"

Step. Step. Sneak. Sneak. Stealthy ghost town Robot Master in black and white. Gemini Man isn't here yet, and he doesn't see the chaos or the demons. But he's coming in, on the edge of town, to check it out, moving in a parody of tip-toed step-silently.

Auto blinks as Bowie calls him over. "Whuh? Oh, yeah!!" He rushes over to the broken shell of the former Blizzard Lizard and looks over her with a careful eye. Finally, he just looks up toward Bowie, and solemnly shakes his head. She's too far gone it seems. You can almost see the sadness in the Screwloose's eyes.

Bolero lands, buster latched to the ground. "... Damn these things..." he mutters, before pulling his arm out of the hole. The blade immediately disappears, while Bolero merely moves towards the others, scratching his chin. "Leave her be for now... We'll take ella on the way out."

Metal Man glances at the remains of Blizzard Lizard and has seen enough damange in his day to know the Reploid is dead. "Nothing we can do for the dead. I wonder who would pull a stunt like this..."

Dust Man looks up at the creature, and blanches. "ZOINKS!" Dusty breaks character in order to defend himself. Namely, he raises both hands and generates a blast of wind as he starts to conjure something from subspace.

Bowie moves to gently close Blizzard's eyes. Another soul lost in El Paso, it seems. His expression hardens as he stands up again, not saying another word.

Centaur Man follows suit in breaking character.... Scooby Snax, who cares! Time to get serious, since the monster seems very much so. He readies his blaster and energy bow, ready to fend off the threat.

Richard will be crushed to see her gone. However, he'll have to get over it in due time. With that done, there are a lot more to handle. There are a lot of zombie-like robots crowding through the town. They are slowly raising from the ground, and they are slowly stepping along the streets. Not only that, but there are creatures of the monsterous descript rushing their way into the fray. Most of them would resemble hellhounds. In fact, to demonstrate of their meaning, they release a roar of flames towards the travelers.

As for the monster dealing with Dust and Centaur, the pressure of the air is slowly pulling it apart, then the arrow stries it into explosion. With that, the arrow is piercing it to seal the deal on its destruction. However, the zombies and hellhounds are entering to surround the two. "Grrrrrrrr....."

Auto looks up from the corpse of the Lizard and stands up...only to see a ton of zombies rising around him. He steps back...but then narrows his optics. This seems familiar for some reason...then Auto realizes it. In a quick motion, he fishes into his chest compartment and takes out something....a Saw...and attaches it to his tool arm. He then flips the cannon off his shoulder and carries it double barrel style. He digs back into his sound archive and emits the appropriate clip:

"....Groovy."

Bowie is not the sort to be eaily riled or unnerved, a man with the figurative nerves of steel. But this...this is El Paso. The people who lived here he once swore to serve and protect. The zombies crawling out of the ruins, limping and lumbering towards him...the hellbeasts rushing down the city streets...this is a bit too much. He fumbles for his other pistol with his free hand, still a bit too shocked to bring himself to shoot them.

Dust Man sighs, and looks at Centaur. "Okay, Silly stuff aside, I think we're in trouble." The object he was summoning comes into existance. It's Flare Feline's leg, Dusty's trusty whackin' limb. The costume around him shifts into subspace as well, and another comes into view. A nice, pressed, Armani suit. With Raybans. Tommy Lee Jones, eat your heart out. He readys to smite anything that comes close.

Gemini Man peers around the corner of a burned-out hulk of at building, and spots...zombies and hellhounds? Closing in on the other Masters? Too weird. VERY too weird. He wasn't the type to honestly believe it, after all. Still a fair distance away, he's unsure if he'll be spotted by the monster squad, or...what.

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Auto spits audibly as a sound clip comes up: "Hail to the King, baby." Then a saw whirrs up.

Bolero blinks, looking around slowly at the numerous zombies. "... Carumba..." he mutters softly, before something really amusing strikes him. Cue the single most expensive music video ever created, Megaman MUSH style, baby. Bolero's amplifiers and speakers start pumping out the music and lyrics to Thriller as fast as he thinks of it. Bolero's blade extends from his left forearm once more, taking on the appearance of a giant scythe. His armor shifts, changing to an impressive black cloak. His voice goes hollow, "Tis time to round up these souls. They must be returned to the underworld soon." He then spins around and uses the sonic scythe to try and lop off a hellhound's head.

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Rock transmits, "... Auto?"

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Bowie transmits, "Dear Lord..."

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Auto transmits, "Don't ask, bro. It's gonna take some drastic stuff to make it outta here...."

Centaur Man nods to Dust, as he unleashes his great Polearm Naginata. It's time to kill zombies, as his hand starts to ignite, ready to unleash his new greek fire upon the advancing undead.

Auto just goes Ash on the hellhounds. The diamond saw intercepts the hounds as they charge, leaving nice bits and pieces around him as he moves out. He has a slightly maniacal look to him at the moment...but maybe it's 'cuz he has blood splattered on him. Oh well, what can you do, there's the undead out there. As he takes another hound out with a quick, controlled blast of his cannon, he simply stares and says, "Hail to the King, baby." No sound clip this time, but he surprising evokes the proper inflection.

In trouble indeed. The hellhounds are rushing through the streets, pressing on to strike. Various hellhounds are pouncing from the ground to pounce on each traveler. However, the zombies are at bay. As the sound of 'Thriller' travels throughout the whole city, the 'zombies' are slowly starting to group together. Slowly closing in, they position themselves in a ready stance while dancing to the beat of the music. They start to move to the beat of the music. Remember how they danced in the movie, that is how they're doing now. As for the greek fire, the ignites, they are being sliced up, blasted, and being ripped to shreds by each of the travelers.

Metal Man says, "Oh great looks like this neads something more heavy." Metal Man pulls a relic from the Raccoon City incident from Subspace comes a heavy autofeed shotgun. "Zombies! Here we go again! Come on you undead freaks! Come get some!" He opesn fire on both hellhound and Zombie. "THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK!" Yet another Ash line.

Bowie finally regains some composure and begins firing into the crowd of zombies and other unnamable horrors. They're already dead, he tells himself, they won't feel this.

Bolero raises a brow, his helm partially melted at his back. His right arm is singed considerably, although nothing horribly threatening. He leaps up, spinning and launching a 14' long blade of pure sound. It ripples through the air like thunder, ripping apart anything in its path... Well, anything that's smaller than it and is at the level of the hellhounds or zombies. He lands, sound scythe vibrating into existance once more. His voice goes dark, "Whether you be a king or a lowly street sweeper, sooner or later, you meet with the reaper." Thriller continues to thunder from his body, Bolero seemingly unaffected by it... Regardless of the zombies' reaction to it.

Dust Man holds out an arm, which shifts into a buster weapon. He starts blasting chunks of trashed robots at approaching critters. He looks over to Centaur. "We need to find that Snowcone Lord, bro!"

Auto just takes aim at the line of zombies as they boogiedown. He then wonders...this isn't like him. He's acting more like the bad guy in some movie than anything. He should be a good light bot. But then, he realizes something. "Good, bad...I'm the guy with the gun." he says, almost instinctively as he blasts a few more down.

Bowie is simply firing at this point. No finesse at all, simply pointing and pulling the trigger. It occurs to him that the entire party has become separated during the attack, and so he starts looking for Richard or any of the other researchers. "Auto, ya see the Doc?" he calls, since he's the closest person he's been able to keep track of.

Auto turns toward Bowie, his face returning to the goofy grin characteristic of the Lightbot. "Huh?" He then lets the words sink in and frowns. "Uhhh...nope. Should I go find him?"

The trail of gunfire from Metal Man pops the creatures into pieces. This would leave the population of 'monsters arriving through the place to shatter slowly at each moment. This is interesting how all are destroyed by the explorers. However, as one last hellhound strikes over towards Bowie, there is a gunshot shooting through the hellhound'shead. Mechafluids bursting out, then it collapses towards the ground. Who fired the gun?

The trail would lead over towards the old man, Richard. His eyes are sullen as he shakes his head. "...I couldn't leave without you guys for bravely adventuring here with me. I lost my colleagues, I'm not losing anymore people..."

A voice is starting to echo through the streets. "...Daoma, Gaiga, Zaoma, Daora."

Bowie nods in thanks to Richard. He hadn't even seen the monster coming. "Ya did good, Doc. Let's find the others." . o (If there are any others...)

Metal Man smirks and says to Auto over the din. "Ash, from Army of Darkness and Evil dead correct?" Blam he blasts another zombie. Just another day in the park for el Ego after all. He was built to kill things, now hitting them is another matter..."

Auto turns toward the Doc as he shoots. "THere you are!" He breathes a sigh of relief. He then turns toward Metal with a determined, almost evil grin and nods, before slicing one zombie in half.

Centaur Man looks around, and unleashes hell upon the demons, blasting them with whatever he can, and even a powerful Centaur Flash. Lifeless demons become even more lifeless.

Gemini Man steps forward down the streets as the wall of monsters disperses....looking over the tired Masters and other collected, Richard included, assessing them. "So. What's up, guys?"

Chill Snowcat pads in looking cuddly as usual. He's trying to locate his friends. He doesn't know what's going on and well. He's just entering the area rather confused.

Aim, fire. Aim, fire. That about sums up Bowie's thought process right now. He doesn't want to think - he can't afford to think. If he does, he just might break down. He keeps the zombies at bay as best he can while everyone begins to regroup. "Can we make a break fer it?"

Dr. Richard Von Eisenhower shakes his head. ".....Monsters, everywhere..." The eyes are slightly narrowing. "...What is that sound?" He frowns at the thought. "Let's proceed.." He starts pulling the cane along, while walking ahead.

The chanting is starting to grow louder upon his lead. "Dora, Gaighra, Zaimoh rei kyeo.."

Upon the chanting, there are more zombie-like monsters activating. The hellhounds are given activation as well. They proceed on stopping the intruders before they get close.

Metal Man is going great guns with his shotgun blasting the undead into kibble. "Zombies, heh just hope they ain't like the T-virus ones..." he does not relish the prospect of getting bit and becomming one of them.

Dust Man looks around, then at Centaur. "Okay, screw this. Blizzard can find his own damn f****** food joint. Can you spook us out of here?"

Gemini Man asks Dust Man, "Leaving already?"

Stomp stomp stomp. Running in at a good fifty MPH, Barrage Raptor starts to try and find where Bolero is, since she figured it out, when he was talking about zombies, "Don't worry! I'm coming to save you!" She calls out as she runs.

Auto simply positions himself in front of the Doc as the hellhounds and zombies group up. "Come on...come on, rotting slag. Make a move." He's getting a little to into the whole action/horror star role, but hey, at least he's not pissing lube all over himself.

"Azreah, mana, greihga, zainan, kyahn." If one can identify the voices, it would in fact sound like Split and Splitette's voice, chanting as one. It is a sign that the travelers are getting closer.

Meanwhile the zombies and the dogs all leap and limber towards the explorers..

Bowie continues firing. He hears the cacophany of words, but they don't mean a thing to him. Right now, he doesn't care. Deep down, something inside him snaps. This is Texas. His home. He's not going to let it be turned into someone's vision of hell. Not even bothering to aim now, he fires into the mob of undead monstrosities around them, shouting something incomprehensible at them in rage. "Auuuurgh!"

It's little wonder, then, that he never sees the hellhound above him, poised to strike.

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Bowie transmits, "Auuuurgh!"

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Bowie *blam* *blam* *blam*

Chill Snowcat bolts around trying to avoid these things....he can smell Bowie and the others. Rushing quickly, especially after hearing the radio he calls out, "Bowie!" And before he can save his friend he is grabbed by the tail and knocked to the ground. The feline screams ferally and attacks the thing that has his tail in it mouth.

Dust Man stops short, listening. He looks over at Gemini, and shortbeams something to him. The Duct explodes from his back, ripping the suit to shreds as it powers up and exhales mightily.

Bolero has left.

The Hellhound that is pouncing on Bowie is leaping onto him. Chompchomp. The Hound of Death will rip good ol' Bowie apart. Raar!!!

Auto startles as Bowie is tackled out of nowhere by a hound. However, that gives him little time to react as another hound bounds toward him. However, he manages to bring up his saw in time to slice at the Hound. Whether it's enough, who knows.

Dust Man sends a radio transmission to Gemini Man.

Gemini Man receives a radio transmission from Dust Man.

(New BB message (15/23) posted to 'OOC Discussion' by Number Man: Hooahahahah.)

"Ya hah!" With a jump, the raptor lands, looking upon all the beasts, "Everybody down!" The chainguns along her back start to twirl. Faster and faster...And faster...Until...A hail of gunfire starts to spray towards any and all zombie or dead looking things..

Bowie is knocked off his feet by the combined weight and momentum of the hellhound. The creature's claws and dagger-like teeth are everywhere, snapping around the Ranger's left arm and reaving it from its socket. "Augh!" By the time the hellhound no longer finds him interesting, the Texan is quite a mess. Looks like the doctors will be busy later...

Gemini Man sends a radio transmission to Dust Man.

Dust Man receives a radio transmission from Gemini Man.

[Radio: (B) H-Chat] Bowie's radio goes to static.

Gemini Man's ears perk up slightly. Fairly idly, he fires off a shot at an approaching zombie, just before it can grasp him. "We love little sprites...we really do..."

Appearing behind himself, he fires off a laser at another fiend.

Centaur Man looks around oO(These zombies are quite out of our leage. Let the repliforcers, and maverick hunters wear themselves out saving the day.)Oo he says, as he decides that it's not worth his time. He feel it might be a good idea to let any other masters here know as well... somehow, but then again, they're probably being overrun by legions of strange beasts.

Metal Man watches Bowie go down and blasts the hell hound off him. "He should be repairable." He states flatly as he goes back to zombie busting. "Well how many do you think they are here?" he asks to everyone and noone.

Finally, by the time that occurs, the whole place is growing silent. There are no more monsters. However, the chanting continues. It is revealing itself to be very close. One would have to journey on.
