New York - Harbor

The teeming city of New York has slowly started spreading down the coast, and taken over what used to be New Jersey. Manhattan Island and Repliforce Island can be see off to the northeast of the harbors, but the harbor system is extensive, boats and hoverboats of all shapes and sizes busy using the complex system of canals that has been builts. The buildings in this section of New York are mostly run down and rusty-looking, but are definitely stronger than they appear. Workers scuttle along the canals and docks day and night, always loading or unloading the cargo from a ship and moving it to the appropriate pick up or drop off spot inside some of the warehouses. As you start to get away from the massive docks themselves, the buildings get cleaner, though not by much, as they house the dock workers, both human and reploid, also providing entertainment of almost any venue that you might think of, from nightclubs to an old salty sea tavern.

Flame Wisteria [C] [Stealthed] Stealth Transport [RM]

Scrap Yard <SR>

Obvious exits:

Northeast <NE> leads to New York - Repliforce Island.

North <N> leads to New York - Eastern Downtown.

Northwest <NW> leads to New York - Southern Downtown.

The Stealthed Transport is stealthed, you don't see it, get over it. Ok, now then, the Stealthed ship makes its way to Liberty Island, with that joyful Lady of Liberty herself, and positions itself right over the head of the famous statue and hovers, in a stealthy manner.

Bowie wanders down the street, trying to correlate the names of the streets with those listed on his map. So much for that shortcut Phoebus told him about. This isn't downtown, and it's not where Repliforce Island used to be. So where is he? Good question. Since apparently he's found the harbor, he decides to follow that, figuring he'll find a landmark eventually.

<Global News Network> "This is Yuperdoder Bingbung here, reporting the great fishing tournement in NYC... Eh, I'm over here, point the camera this way!... What are you starin... OH MY GOD, what's happening to the Statue of Liberty? Oh <beep>, this is horrible" *the report ends abruptly*

Ring Man has arrived.

Centaur Man has arrived.

King has arrived.

Charge Man has arrived.

King appears seemingly from mid-air, leaping from the Stealth Transports loading deck and landing on the arm of the Statue of Liberty a moment later. Or more precisely, he lands on the book that Lady Liberty is holding. The copper obligingly bends beneath the sheer mass of his royal presence, and the Elite Ruler looks about for a moment, his eyes narrowed as he considers the chaos to come. An event this large would certainly brings more than a little resistance... and possibly high class resistance at that.

[OOC] Ring Man waves. "Hi, we'll be your evil hoards for this evening. Let me tell you about our specials, we have a lovely defacing national monuments, serves with a side order of destruction."

[OOC] Bowie hehs.

Guts Man arrives from the New York - Southern Downtown.

Guts Man has arrived.

Ring Man jumps out of the stealthy transport onto the head of lady liberty and starts to make his way to the torch. He's currently awaiting orders or the nearest sign of resistance.

Guts Man poofs out of nowhere.

Bowie glances up from his map, spotting Lady Liberty standing proudly in the harbor. Finally, something the Texan recognizes. He can't help but smile a bit at the sight of her...except something (or several somethings) seem to be flying around her. His brow furrows, and he starts moving towards the pier at a fast jog.

Charge Man leaps out of the transport, arms flailing wildly about him. Unfortunately for the large train-bot, his head is extremely heavy, and as a result, he slowly rotates in mid-air until he's falling head first. Screaming obscenities as he plummets head first towards the ground, he totally misses the statue, instead SMASHing into the ground near the base of the statue.

Charge Man strikes Charge Man with his Smash attack.

Centaur Man smiles. "Carefully with the torch." Goes the hooved one as he leaps towards the arm that holds it. Oh no, he missed, AHHH! Not to worry though, as the hooved one is skilled with teleportation, and lands on the arm. At that, he readies his blaster. "This should be... fun!" He says with a slight smirk, as he prepares to remove the arm through the RM's favorite style of doing things. Precision, and care... erm, I mean destruction!

Ring Man says, "Smooth bro, real smooth."

Guts Man says, "Smooth like buddah!"

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> arrives from the New York - Repliforce Island.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> has arrived.

King remains standing atop the book carried by the famous statue, one foot resting on the top letter inscribed in it and his face set in a cold expression as he awaits the other Masters going about their business with the statue. The Golden Ruler is not here to steal petty things, even if they are from a national monument. Instead, he waits for the arrival of others who might provide a more signifigant challenge - and who's defeat would assist the Master's war effort considerably.

Bowie finds himself in something of a quandry. The Statue of Liberty is on an island. He's on the shore. It's a mite too far to swim. Time to go borrow someone's watercraft. He runs out onto the pier, just as some of those hapless fishermen from the contest pull in, and flags one down. "Hey thare, lemme borrow yer boat?"

"What? Are you crazy?"

"No, sir, Ah'm a Hunter."

"Close enough. Your funeral, pal."

Ring Man directs the Stealth Transports auto pilot remotely to start sending teathering cables to the torch area of the Statue of Liberty. So hopefully when Cent blasts the arm off he won't end up destroying what they came here for.

Centaur Man smirks. How to do this? It might be a bit tough, but the hooved archer isn't gonna quit yet. He's gonna get the hand that holds the torch to safety, just like he said he would. With that, he begins to shoot plasma, in a careful way. Please tear along the scorched dotted lines, and be careful, this is very fragile!

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> flies into the area, keeping relatively high up.

Rock has arrived.

Rush has arrived.

Charge Man slowly hauls himself up out of the small crater his impact caused. His head already severely dented and banged up, Charge winces as he reaches up with a hand to feel the damage done. "Damn it all to hell." he curses to himself as fingers the indentations. Sighing, he finally gets to his feet and dusts himself off, looking around to make sure that they haven't been spotted yet.

And, in the middle of combat, a whistle is audible. Guess who doesn't like Lady Liberty being picked on.

Guess who's piloting the Stealth Transport.

Guess who's dropping out of the belly of the Vorpal in a flash of blue and red, and a wash of thrusters as they spiral down and around gracefully towards the Statue of Liberty, even as she's undergoing amputation... WITHOUT GENERAL ANAETHESTIC! Barbarians.

Charge Man's shoulders drop as he hears the whistle. "Aw, f***." he says to himself.

Ring Man's eye starts to twitch when he hears the whistle. Remembering what happened the last time he met the owner of said whistle.

King smiles - satisfied now with the strength of the response that Centaur Man's rather childish raid has provoked from the other side of this war. Not only Break Man, whom would be a satisfying opponent in his own right... but Rock himself. Indeed, this would be a battle to remember. And it was unlikely that the other who had joined at the last moment would pass up this battle. King reaches around his shoulder, bringing both the Executioner's Axe and Royal Shield to bear - his golden armor a beacon to the approaching blue hero of his presence.

Bowie climbs into the speedboat as the two fishermen clamor out. One can imagine they'll be calling their insurance company to file a claim. Taking a moment to don his armor, he turns the engine back on, and turns the craft around, heading for Liberty Island.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> circles around the harbor as it pings the area with active sensors... of course... picking /out/ the Stealth Transport's not a hard task, what with it attached to the arm of the Statue.

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Daito CO Michael Eildath transmits, "I'm idly wondering here if the Stealth Transport would move if I played chicken with it..."

Rock hunkers down slightly on the Rushjet, knees bent and Buster leaving a glowing trail as dog and boy streak their way across the New York Harbor. The whistle's song draws a faint grin from the Blue Bomber, and his eyes narrow to pleased slits, free hand curling into a fist as he holds out his arm to steady himself. Rush barks, amused in his own way. "Tch," the Hunter Commander muses as he quickly surveys the surroundings. "What would they want that for, anyway?"

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Seismic Earthworm transmits, "It didn't when I did."

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Rock grins slightly. "Let's find out."

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Bowie transmits, "*noise of a motor in background* Is that whut's up thare?"

Centaur Man shall cut along the dotted lines with ease. Can you say Use Caution? You better, because that's what the hooved one is doing. The heros below can wait for now, for the hooved one has a statue to destroy with tenderness, as he takes out his great naginata, he begins to cut where he made the scorching marks of plasma, like a knife through roast turkey, mmm, hungry for some statue anyone?

With a flicker of light and the familiar noise of teleportation, a familiar figure appears atop one of the many spikes upon Lady Liberty's crown. Protoman stands upon statue, looking down at the brewing battle below... But, he hasn't taken any shots yet. Probably making his presence known to everyone in the area, Protoman's gaze shifts from foe to foe, as if selecting a target. Which, as anyone who knows him, he probably is. Catching sight of the Rush Jet propelling itself across the harbor, Protoman smirks slightly as he promptly throws himself off the side of the crown, plummeting down below.

Bowie changes into his Lone Star armor.

Ring Man was standing on the head and was glaring at Break Man, but, as he jumps over the side, appearently goign for King Ring disregaurds him and looks instead to the Blue Bomber and his K-9 surf board. "Cent, hurry your aft up, we got company. Company with heavy artilery!"

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> spins around, and comes to a level position with the Stealth Transport. Yes, it has the technology to detect it... even so, it just has to aim for the place where the ropes disappear. "ROBOT MASTER TRANSPORT," the pilot says, the voice that of Michael Eildath. "RELEASE THE STATUE, OR PREPARE TO BE FORCED AWAY FROM IT."

King simply stands in a guard position - if Break Man wishes to engage him, let the smaller prototype come to him. A fight was exactly what King expected from the scarved and visored older robot...

Centaur Man continues to cut the statue's hand. It's not easy, but he ignores all threats, and makes a signal for the transport to come get the torch, before he complety seperates it from the statue entirely.

Outstretching the Protobuster, which leaves a golden trail of light behind him as he drops like a lawn dart to the Earth, Protoman takes aim at the nearest target - Namely, the golden emperor, King. About to take fire, Protoman smirks to himself, holding off. Two can play that game. Flipping in mid-air, Protoman lands on the book with a loud thump, standing across from the Elite, on the opposing edge of the book. No words -- Wasn't Protoman's style. But, the Protobuster is held up in the air, still charging, ready for action.

Certainly, the Stealth Transport is living up to its name, but with the arrival of the Vorpal and its decry, it briefly gives up the illusion long enough for a large projection screen to extend. Upon it is a simple, simple gesture. The pilot is giving the Vorpal the bird.

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Daito CO Michael Eildath transmits, "Advancing to ramming speed."

Rock veers down hard on Rushjet's back, cutting towards the arm and the Masters assembled there with a flicker of amusement in his eyes. "I'll give you to the count of three to stop and back away!" he shouts above the noise of the thrusters, Buster easily sweeping the space between Ring and Centaur with a blazing white-yellow trail. "One..."

*Zrrrrrm* The craft Bowie borrowed skims across the waters of the bay. While it make take him longer to get there than Rock, Blues, or anyone in the Vorpal, he'll get there. The lone boat heading for Liberty Island (as opposed to all the ones making for the shore) may be noticed by anyone with a good vantage point.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> hovers there for a moment, and the pilot is nonplussed. "Oh... fine... if that's that's the way you want to play it. You leave me no choice." Throwing forward the throttle, Mike starts to accelerate, bringing the Vorpal up to ramming speed. He couldn't possibly be serious... could he?

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Rock transmits, "Good luck, Mike. Be careful."

King stands at the ready, smiling at Break Man as he stood opposite. Well, if this wasn't what is always came down to. His eyes narrowing in his visor, King smiles ever so faintly. "I am glad to see that some worthy opponents decided to appear - even if for just some insignifigant raid," he comments quietly, flipping his axe around so it is in a more proper striking position. A moment passes - and King charges, aiming to crash into Blues and trying to knock the visored one from his perch.

King misses Blues with his Dash attack.

The Lord of the Ring's eyes narrow as he looks at the leader of the Hunters. Flicking his wrist he produces a stack of mini-rings. "You'll forgive me if I'm impatient," is all the ring master says before snaping his fingers and sending the miniature razor sharp golden rings of death (tm) at Megaman, not even waiting for the count to finish.

Ring Man strikes Rock with his Mini Rings attack.

The projection screen disappears, putting the stealth transport back into its namesake, the realm of stealth and visual disappearance. Perhaps all too aware, however, of the Vorpal's own capabilities, a fist slams through the forward screen for the vessel, displaying the interior of the Stealth Transport.. and one certain Force Leader, whose aiming his Buster directly at the approaching Vorpal. Even above the scream of the Hunter engines compared to the silent running of the Robot Master, the whine of the Neo Buster is loud. A game of chicken against Bass would be ill-advised.

Stealth Transport deactivates its stealth mode.

Centaur Man gives the signal once again for a cargo lift, the torch is ready to be loaded onto the ship. Hopefully they can get out before it's too late, but do things ever seem fun around here unless a fight ensures? The hooved one has no choice, but the statue will go down too!

Protoman is momentarily distracted, his eyes drawn towards the Rushjet and it's exchange with the Robot Masters. Sneering, Protoman lets off a quick radio transmission... Bad timing, however, as King charges towards him. With an icy look on his face, Blues bends his knees, springing up and straight over the royal Elite with a flourish of his scarf, flipping around as to face his foe. Still charging his Buster, Protoman lunges forward, foot raising to smash into King's rear. Though a weak assault, it has a second implication.

Namely, taking advantage of King's failed inertia, and sending him flying off the statue.

Blues strikes King with his Kick attack.

Blues sends a radio transmission.

Rock receives a radio transmission.

*plink* *plink* *plonk*

Rock blinks as the flurry of rings dance off his chest armor, and bounce off of Rush's head. "Oookay," he muses, staring in surprise at the tiny dents in his blue metal self. "If that's how you want to play, then... two, three!" And with that, he draws a bead on Ring and fires a quick shot to return the favour, even as he screams past to buzz the pair, Rush growling menacingly.

Rock misses Ring Man with his Mega Buster attack.

King takes the kick, the impact barely forming a dent in his armor - against someone over twice his size, Blues is going to have to try much harder than that to unseat the King of this Book. The Golden Ruler smirks, and brings one hand around in a rapid motion - aiming to grab the Visored Break Man by the scarf and give him the same treatment in return - a free right straight off the side of Lady Libery, courtesy of King Airways.

King misses Blues with his Throw attack.

Rock sends a radio transmission.

Blues receives a radio transmission from Rock.

So, the battle will play out like an episode of 'American Gladiators'? So be it. Apparently having an inaudible conversation with someone the entire time, Protoman slides backwards, slipping the Proto Buster up as King's hand misses his scarf. Instead, the extended limb of the Elite Master is made the prime target of the Proto Buster, as Blues unleashes a flurry of plasma bolts from the Buster.

Blues strikes King with his Proto Buster attack.

Blues sends a radio transmission.

Rock receives a radio transmission from Blues.

Ring Man leaps and does the splits in the air to avoid the blast as it passes under him. While in the air Ring Man pulls two golden stacks of his namesakes out of nowhere, "So that's how we're going to play?" he asks while coming to the zenith of his leap. Whipping his arms around he releases the hail of spinning roundish death at Rock, hoping to cause more then dents this time.

Ring Man strikes Rock with his Ring Storm attack.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> continues forward. Michael, as many may know, has more balls than a basketball team, and puts a little spin on his flight, to try and skew the aim of the Force Commander. "I don't think that thing can take me down with one blast, Bass, and I think you know it, too. Release Lady Liberty."

Charge Man has his neck craned upwards as he watches the battles commencing. Raising a mighty armored fist skyward toward those who would oppose the Masters, he shakes it. "You yellow-bellied pansies!! Come down here where I can beat your face in!" he roars, still shaking that might fist.

King staggers as his arm is burnt badly by the protobuster blast - but the Ruler is not bowed by this perticular attack. "Impressive..." King grunts in way of admission, taking a step back on the top of the book. A step that is taken only so that he may gain some room to swing - a rapid fake with his axe which gives way to another attack - a sweeping strike from the side with the Royal Shield. Let us see Blues dodge something this large...

King misses Blues with his Royal Shield Bash attack.

Rock has reconnected.

Rock has partially disconnected.

Bowie brings the speedboat in at a higher-than-recommended speed towards the island, pulling back on the throttle only when he's nearly on top of it. Hey, he's in a hurry. He pulls the craft into the dock normally reserved for the ferry, cuts the engine, and hops onto the synthwood pier. The cavalry has arrived. And he's not happy.

Rock grunts faintly as yet more rings dance off his armor, buffeting his body with small welts and nicks. Rush growls faintly as the projectiles scratch him as well, and with an unspoken command the two break apart - Rock leaps to land on the arm of the statue as the Buster spits out a solid glowing ball of energy which bounces along the arm towards Ring like a maddened soccer ball; Rush darting around to Centaur to growl menacingly, thrusters glowing and roaring as he readies himself for attack if the hoofed Master doesn't comply. 'Back off,' the uplifted lip intimates, white fangs looking oh so sharp and ready...

.oO(Horse. A nice, light snack.)

Rock strikes Ring Man with his Mega Ball attack.

Ducking below the Executioner's Axe, Protoman's head twists suddenly to catch sight of the Royal Shield. And here is where Blues secret weapon comes into play. He cannot dodge it - No room to move, not something that large. However, as the Royal Shield crashes through the area where Blues once stood, he catches only air. Reappearing behind King in a flash of red light, Protoman lunges forward, his Buster manifesting the Protoblade from it's barrel as he aims to impale his foe upon the cylindrical energy edge.

Blues strikes King with his Protoblade attack.

King successfully reflects Protoblade.

Guts Man chugs coffee.

Behind the Force Leader, Treble walks into view, awaiting his master's command as per usual. With a confident sneer, Bass stares down the approaching vessel, holding his shot for now, charging it right up into the red. "I don't need to destroy you completely, fool. I only need to hit one of your engines. Which is certainly an easy enough task." For indeed, he resides amongst the most capable marksmen in the world, despite not having entered into the Battle and Chase event. and the spiral is only offering him more places to strike, when he finally unleashes. "I don't give a flying **** about Liberty, but on the general 'You're opposing me' basis, I guess I'll just have to stick with my gun. Treble, prepare!"

King brings his reflect system offline.

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Daito CO Michael Eildath transmits, "Okay, this's pissed him off."

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Seismic Earthworm transmits, "In a good way?"

Horse is not a light snack, it's a spicy, full fledged meal able to keep you full for days on end, and is also able to kick your ass, if you put your ass up to it's hooves that is. It's quite a powerful kick as well. That's just your tidbit of useless info of the day, and now onto the real stuff.

The hooved one pauses from his cutting, if not but for a brief moment. If disturbances come his way, he'll need to fend em off. Look, it's like the archer in the castle situation, as the hooved one radies his bow, and fires a large steal arrow at the hero in blue. Blue is a color of sadness, and it fits rock perfectly. Are you that surprised, well don't, for you probably knew it all along anyway. Arrows can slice quite good too.

As the reigning Lord of the Rings touches down he looks back to his foe, and promptly takes a soccar ball between the eyes. Stumbling back he holds his head, that didn't feel good, better then a buster to the head though. Growling Ring Man snaps another one of his trade marked rings into existance and strikes a pose like a classic greek olympian discus statue. Taking careful aim at his families most hated foe he spins and releases one of his precision rings.

Unfortunately, the power of the Royal Shield is not something to be taken lightly - as it passes by Blues, King manages to use it to turn aside a portion of the power of Protoblade for a moment. And thus the blast of energy it shot back in Blues' direction for a moment... but given the amount that actually made contact, it is unlikely that it did much damage to either fighter. The blue crystal in the center flashes for a moment - but King doesn't bother to unleash its power, not yet. Instead he steps in, and strikes out with one arm - aiming to cut Break Man open with the blade on the back of one of his gauntlets.

King misses Blues with his Gauntlet Lash attack.

Ring Man strikes Rock with his Surgical Strike attack.

Centaur Man misses Rock with his Armor Piercing Arrow attack.

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Daito CO Michael Eildath transmits, "No... he's gonna start taking potshots at the Vorpal, I think."

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> doesn't let Bass spook him. Mike is one of the greatest pilots in the world... if anyone can dodge his attacks, it's him. Mike continues to play the game of chicken, since Bass doesn't seem inclined to move... there's not much of a moment left to react, either.

Charge Man balls up his fists as he continues to roar and curse at those above him. "Kick his ass Ring! Do it!!" he shouts out to his fellow Master. "Lop his head off, King!" he continues. Then, for effect, the large train lays into the base of the Lady with one of those massive fists, leaving a nice sizeable imprint as he does so. He doesnt even notice Bowie approach though, he's too caught up in watching the fights above.

Utterly unavoidable, the blast of energy strikes Blues in the shoulder, leaving a slight burn mark. Regarding the wound with a bit of disdain, Protoman takes aim with the Protobuster, this time aiming for the head. A much more focused beam of energy launches from the barrel of the Protobuster this time, leaving a cascade of energy in it's wake as it streaks up towards King. Meanwhile, Protoman smirks a bit, reaching for his shield. Detaching it with a slight click of metal hinges releasing, Protoman pulls the defensive weapon into his grip. But he does not yet bring it into a defensive position... Not yet, anyways.

Blues strikes King with his Proto Buster 2 attack.

Bass' cheeks raise ever so faintly as his lips pull back into a faint grin of bemusement. "Well. The guy's got balls. Let's see them for ourselves. Treble. Now." The two leap forward through the window that was so violently opened mere moments ago, coming together in a sickly fusion of energy that takes but a fraction of a second -- the end result being the Dark Knight himself, as Magna Bass flies directly at the Vorpal. He'll play the game of chicken right through the Maverick Hunter vessel, and out the other side. No need for the Stealth Transport when you've got a devil coming right for you.

Bass has arrived.

Bowie's armored boots clatter as he runs up the concrete path from the pier to the base of Lady Liberty. Again, there's the problem of transportation. Short of climbing the 22 stories worth of stairs, there's no way for him to join the battle above him. However, there's at least one Master on the ground he can harry. Bringing his air cannon to bear on Charge Man, he calls, "Put yer hands up!" Yes, some habits are hard to break.

Rock has a limited area in which to work with: he chose his arena badly. Struck by the savage shot from Ring, the glistening hoop embeds itself in his chest, drawing a trickle of mechfluid down his torso. He grits his teeth, eyes narrowed as pain twinges at the corners of his mind. "That wasn't very nice at all," he mutters. A warning bark from Rush draws his attention to the arrow flying for his back. Leaping upwards, twisting in the air, he opens fire to rain down plasma shots on both Centaur and Ring, face a mask of pain with the effort - even as Rush tries to distract Centaur by snapping and barking at his heels.

Rock strikes Centaur Man with his Mega Buster Repeating Blast attack.

Rock strikes Ring Man with his Mega Buster Repeating Blast attack.

King staggers again as he is burned by Blues' protobuster once more, more of his armor burning off under its force at this point. Well, this was not going very well now, was it? The Ruler curls his lip slightly, his grip tightening around his axe - but not yet. Instead he unleashes the power stored within the Royal Shield, a flash of energy aimed at blinding Break Man and giving King a momentary advantage in battle. If the other robot's visor isn't that good, of course.

King strikes Blues with his Royal Shield Flash attack.

Blues is temporarily disoriented by King's Royal Shield Flash attack.

Protoman's visor is typically inpenetrable... But, as he lifted his head to fire, the responding counterflash caught up from beneath his shield. Struck by it, Protoman stumbles back, planting his shield into the ground and gripping tightly, lest King decide to attempt to throw him off... Meanwhile, his stunning agility is substantially weakened, leaving him... A sitting duck.

Charge Man stops shouting for a moment as he hears a voice behind him. He blinks for a moment at the request and then looks to his arms which were already raised to shake at those above. Furrowing his brow he lowers his arms and turns around to face that voice. He looks down to Bowie and chuckles. "You gunna make me, little man?"

King steps forward as Blues is hit by the blast - disoriented as he is, it is going to leave him rather open for a hit in return. And hit King does - he brings the axe around in a rapid slash, aiming to lay open Protoman's chest and hopefully knock him off of his perch for the time being. Anything to buy him a few moments in this fight - things are not progressing well, unfortunately. In the meantime King readies his Royal Shield, bringing its generators fully online as he goes on the defensive.

King strikes Blues with his Executioner's Axe Swipe attack.

King brings his reflect system online.

Ring Man lets out a cry of pain as the rapid shots from Rock's buster burn over him. Falling to one knee he attempts to keep from being blasted off the arm till the hail of energy ends. Getting back to his feet Ring Man snaps his fingers producing another stack of mini-rings, but he doesn't throw the this time. No, this time he snaps his fingers again and lets them fall into a make-shift chain whip. (Simon Belmont eat your heart out.) Leaping at the Hunter leader Ring Man snaps his arm around bringing the chain of rings down the Blue Bomber.

Ring Man misses Rock with his Ring Flail attack.

Finally dealt some actual damage, Protoman leaps back, a slight wound on his chest, revealing a bit of his internal circuitry. Protoman is forced to the very edge of the book, almost tilting off... But not quite. His balance is quite impressive. Watching as the Royal Shield is readied, Protoman produces the Proto Shield, almost to spite his golden foe. Slamming it down before him, Protoman glares at King, almost with contempt, before training the Proto Buster on him and letting loose with one large orb of energy, which tears free of the barrel, streaming towards King like a bolt of lightning.

Blues misses King with his Proto Buster 3 attack.

King successfully deflects an attack randomly.

Blues puts his guard up.

Bowie looks Charge in the eyes, his expression not one of anger but of determination. They're attacking his country and desicrating one of the world's greatest symbols of freedom two days before Independence Day. He's not about to let them get away with it. "Yer darn right Ah will." He balls his right hand into a fist, triggering a concussive blast of air to hurl at Charge.

Centaur Man feels the repeated blasting of the blue one. Ouch! Now you know why blue is depressing. The transport has moved closer now, as it looks like some drone has taken the wheel. This is good, for the hooved one can place the torch in more easily. Drones can do that though, for the hooved one has a blue boy to destroy. Of course, he's not gonna get off the statue yet. Instead, he fires a volley of smaller arrows at the kid of the depressing color. It's time for antidepressants. The color blue is not going make us sad and mad any longer, hopefully!

Centaur Man misses Rock with his Energy Arrows attack.

You miss Charge Man with your Crosswind attack.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> alters its plan on the fly. Bass heading toward it kinda drives playing chicken with the /Stealth Transport/ a moot point. If this thing hits a person, that person is most likely a smear... and Mike's fight isn't with Bass. With pinpoint timing, the VTOL, spins, using its hella maneuverability to turn, trying to accomplish his damn goal... getting the transport offa the statue. If he can't spook it off, he'll burn off cables with his engine wash.

King smacks the shot aside with ihs shield, and this time comes in at full force. Hopefully Break Man had put aside enough of his defenses in unleashing that last attack - and so King goes in at full force, his axe held slightly up and to the left as he aims to strike his opponent head on and high from the left. A rather unsubtle attack, but one with enough force behind it that perhaps it will be able to break through Blues' defenses.

King strikes Blues with his Executioner's Axe Charging Slash attack.

Charge Man is already in action though as Bowie attempts to deal the first blow, using his wheeled feet and rockets to propell him quickly to the side. With a slight grin he changes his heading sharply, the metal guards on his feet sparking up as the cut into the ground. As he bears down upon Bowie, he raises one of those large fists in an attempt to dish out some punishment.

Charge Man strikes you with his Punch for 7 units of damage.

Rock! It's what we're all about! And right now, Rock is all about dodging.

"C'mon, surely you guys can do better than -that-!" he taunts as he descends from his leap, landing behind Ring Man as he lashes out with the ring-whip. "Psst," he whispers, grinning broadly before dropping to the ground, one leg extended out and slipping along Lady Liberty's arm to trip up Ring.

Rush, meanwhile, growls faintly at Centaur as he fires a barrage of arrows at his boy. With a snarl of irritation, the Hunter canine whirls past the four-legged Master, blowing out a searingly hot blast of exhaust into Centaur's face. Cheapskate!

Rock misses Ring Man with his Slide Kick attack.

Rush misses Centaur Man with its Jetwash attack.

Struck hard with the axe despite his defenses, Protoman is determined to pull a pyrrhic victory out of this hat, slamming his own shield towards King at the same time. Nonetheless, the inertia instilled upon him by King sends the elder Android flying backwards to the very edge of the book, landing on his back and sliding... Clean off. That can't be good.

And, looking over the edge, there seems to be... No sign of Protoman. He wouldn't have allowed himself to fall, however, not with his teleportation. Of course not -- For, just out of view on the bottom edge of the book is Protoman, calmly clinging to the underside some ten or fifteen feet below King, trying to come in for a surprise attack.

Blues strikes King with his Shield Bash attack.

King staggers backwards as he is struck by Blues' shield - but again, the other robot's size plays against him. King only takes a step backwards due to the force of the impact - but he then bends over slightly - and in an unexpected attack, attempts to impale Blues with the crown atop his head! A reduclious attack, but hopefully one that will do some damage due to its surprising nature.

King misses Blues with his Helmet Thrust attack.

Ring Man hates it when he swins and doesn't hit anything. But can't win them all. Snapping his whip back into the non-existance from which it came, he pulls out his favorite ring. His best ring. His one ring. His only ring. His precious. The Ring Boomerang is gripped tightly in his hand as he touches down. Rock however, doesn't let him get a chance to use it properly, Having to make a small leap to avoid having his legs taken out he lunges towards Rock, the ring in hand. Taking a mighty swipe Ring Man tries to cut Rock open.

Ring Man strikes Rock with his Ring Slash attack.

His supreme effort to ram into the incredibly close Vorpal brushed aside by the hella maneuverability of the Maverick Hunter transport, the Dark Knight thrusts his arms out to both sides, stopping on a dime. He turns his head, glaring past one of his demonic wings to watch the vessel continue on towards the Stealth Transport, the latter of which simply floats there serenely, its own maneuverability set to 'stay, good ship, stay, good.'

With a snarl of bristling anger, Magna Bass flies after the Vorpal once more, the Magna Buster taking in the previous Neo charge and adding even more energy into the blast that's being stored. The gauge along the side of the weapon flitters up into the danger zone, into the high red, straining with the sheer amount of energy within it. Heedless of the cables that are snapped by the afterburners of the Hunter craft, he dashes past those that remain, causing the Stealth Transport to shake. Yet once he's clear, he's firing that blast at its highest capabilities, sending it after the only piloted vehicle presently.. present.

Bowie is forced back a few steps as Charge's fist slams into his chest. There's a noticable dent in the armor, but it wasn't enough to cause the composites to splinter. The Texan takes another step back of his own volition as he unslings his rifle from his back. He may not have brute strength on his side, but his rifle might even the odds.

The drones are doing a good job at placing the torch into the transport, and what's to be in place so that nobody gets suspisious? (yea right!) Why it's a giant fake... ICE CREAM CONE! Geez, now you know why drones are called pathetic. The hooved one is faring well actually. Bad Puppy, very bad puppy! The hooved one decides it might be nice to shove his pole up his exhaust pipe, (and not in the dirty way, you sick perverts, you!) Look out puppy-wuppy, Centy has a bit of spearheaded vengance, and it's going in through the back... hmm, I wonder if those jets are actually his butt... Ewww!

As he flips back atop Lady Liberty's massive iron tome, Protoman is immediately greeted with a golden crown. In a bad way. King's valiant thrust strikes... Nothing in particular. Still quite graceful, Protoman leaps up and over his opponent, landing behind him with a flutter of his scarf. Finally opening his mouth, Protoman snarls, before charging forward with his shield up. "You're too /slow/!" Trying to ram the King with his shield, Protoman's Proto Buster begins to charge up a precarious amount of energy... Is he planning something? Though his assault lacks the damage capacity of other tactics, it does have one thing that the others did not: More speed. More velocity means more energy... And that means a higher chancing of knocking the massive Executioner off balance.

Blues strikes King with his Shield Dash attack.

King successfully reflects Shield Dash.

Charge Man is a lot quicker then most give him credit for though, and manages to duck his large frame to the side. Just in time too, as the blast from the rifle sails harmlessly over his shoulder. With a sneer, Charge looks to Bowie and wags a finger from side to side, "Uh unnh." he says shortly, before launching towards the Hunter with a large open hand. With this hand he attempts to latch it onto Bowie's face and then make him aquainted with the nice solid ground.

Charge Man strikes you with his Head Meets Something Hard for 9 units of damage.

You take less damage due to your Blunt resistances.

Rock rolls slightly as his slide-kick dances past Ring's legs, and reels back under the force of the circle's slash, wincing as it bounces off of the other bit of jewelry still embedded there. "Okay," he growls, the Buster snapping out from his prone position on the ground. "Playtime's -over-." The armcannon whines and barks loudly, the sphere of white-yellow plasma snarling upwards and on a slight angle.

Rush, meanwhile, yelps in surprise as the sword is slashed in his ... aft's direction. He growls, ears pinning back. .oO(It's Masters like you that make me wonder about Wily and his thing for swords.) Nimbly veering off to the side to circle back around, he drops down a small cannon with a red jewel gleaming in the muzzle. The hand-sized cannon hums, and then spits out a tight beam of energy towards Centaur's haunches - hey, it's not a Buster, but it's a way to brand a horse.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> blasts forward as soon as his drive's cut a bunch of cables, Mike laying on the speed, pushing the Vorpal forward like a bat out of hell. The only real chance he has to get away from Bass is to dodge a Neo-Buster blast... shrugging it off is out of the question... there's a dearth of convenient Atlantic islands to crash land a burning ship into.

Rock misses Ring Man with his Mega Buster 3 attack.

[OOC] Centaur Man says, "it's not a sword, it's a spear :)"

[OOC] Rock says, "To Rush, it's all the same. :D"

Rush strikes Centaur Man with its Rush Laser attack.

King is struck again, but this time a golden aura of force appears around him - blasting part of the kinetic energy that Blues struck him with directly back into the smaller robots face. King grunts, his armor cracking badly under the strike - but he doesn't hesitate. Opening his guard for a moment, the Ruler unleashes an X shaped beam of energy directly into Break Man - at point black, in should at least force him back some.

King misses Blues with his X-beam attack.

Ring Man demonstraights amazing agility as he bounds up up and... over the massive blast. That would have REALLY hurt. Of course in his scramble to avoid the blast he wasn't paying attention to his landing point. Which happened to be a foot in front of Rock. Not having a momment to lose he does the first thing that comes to mind. He backhands the mighty hunter with the side of his Ring Boomerang.

Ring Man misses Rock with his Ring Smack attack.

Thunk! Texan meets concrete. Good thing Bowie was wearing his helmet. All the same, there's an audible crunch as the visor cracks from the impact. He tries to pull himself away and out of Charge's grasp. He's not a close range fighter, and he knows that unless he can get some space between them, his rifle's about useless. Drawing his energy pistol with his off-hand, he takes a wild shot at Charge, trying to drive him back long enough for him to get on a more even footing.

You strike Charge Man with your Trick Shot attack.

The reflected kinetic energy leaves a sharp crack in his visor - Something which Protoman is not fond of. Focusing on the fracture, Protoman narrows his eyes at King as the massive cross of plasma rushes towards him. With minimal room to evade at this range, Protoman does what seems impossible. Dropping down to the floor, the Red Bomber rushes through the lowest crux of the X, pounding his palm against the floor to lift him into the air... And to bring the Proto Buster into view, right in King's face. As the Protobuster unleashes what seems to be it's maximum setting of energy, Protoman cringes at the point blank nature of the shot, his scarf being blown back by the reaction as a tremendous crackling orb of golden plasma bursts from the Buster, far larger than Protoman's entire arm, streaking up into King's head. Hopefully, this would end the fight... As Protoman notes with a bereaved expression on his face... Rock is having some trouble.

Blues strikes King with his Proto Buster Megablast attack.

King successfully reflects Proto Buster Megablast.

He didn't mean to sound disgusting, but Centy neededed to shut off those engines. Dogs werent meant to fly... hmm, flying dog. Sounds like fun, and at that, the hooved one jumps up, to get aboard the back of Rush, and does drop attacks, teleporting to prevent plummeting to an untimely death, and should he be unable to follow long enough, the statue's arm is a welcome landing point. Puppy wuppy is goin down, and Cent will do his best to make sure of it!

Centaur Man strikes Rush with his Hoof Smash attack.

King is rocked backwards by the force of the blast that strikes him - but the Ruler grits his teeth, draining more and more of the power of the megablast into his own shield, his own reflect systems. And even as a massive portion of the power that has been sent at him is blasted right back at Break Man, King pours more and more of his own pour into his next attack - and there is a massive roar of energy as King replies to the Proto Buster Megablast - *in king*.

King misses Blues with his Royal Shield Megablast attack.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> emits a nice random roll for RP's sake. 79

Bass rolled a 32, so let's carry on.

Charge Man staggers back as the shot hits him full in the face, blasting out one of his optics in the process. "GRRRRAAAAAAGGH!!" he screams out as he clutches his now destroyed optical socket. Gritting his teeth and letting out a large blast of steam from his large smokestack, Charge slams both hands into the ground. For a moment nothing happens, but then the ground aroundhim begins to spiderweb and creak as he slowly starts to stand up. As he reaches his full heaight, a large chunk of the ground comes with him. Sneering at the Hunter, he yells out.. "Time to die!!" and with that, he hurls the massive slab of concrete..

Charge Man strikes you with his Ultrahuck for 12 units of damage.

You take less damage due to your Blunt resistances.

[OOC] Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> says, "YAY! HOL SKILLS!"

Rock arches an eyebrow at Ring as he lunges away from the blast. "You don't listen well," he growls softly as the ring sweeps downwards as he sits up. He's completely unaware of anything else - his brother, King, Bass... it's all about Ring, the fast little stinker. One hand snakes out to seize the incoming golden bauble, and instead of it connecting with his head like one would expect, he snatches it, holds it, and with a low cackle of amusement, sends it swinging back towards Ring's chin, free hand and arm wreathed in energy. That'll be one hell of a hit if it connects, seeing as how the fist is now surrounded by a wreath of energy, taking a vaguely hammer-like shape. "I said, ENOUGH."

Rush, meanwhile, has a monkey on his back. No, +monkey! Er.. no, that's a horse. In particular, it's Centaur. And four hooves smash down into his back, crumpling armor and driving the dog to bounce off the arm as his thrusters try to readjust. He turns and twists, trying to throw Centaur off by flying towards the Lady herself and smash him against the wall like the horsefly he is.

Rock strikes Ring Man with his Hammer Arm attack.

Ring Man is temporarily disoriented by Rock's Hammer Arm attack.

Rush strikes Centaur Man with its Ram attack.

Bristling with renewed anger, the Dark Knight gives up on his pursuit. He can't match that speed at distance, despite his ability to dodge things coming his own way. Instead, he simply takes up a new position, guarding the remaining cables. Apparently, they were only after the torch -- and at the rate things are going, they may not get that as those that still hold onto the copper instrument strain to keep it raising. Muttering darkly, Magna Bass awaits the next attack run from the Maverick Hunter craft, brief particles of light descending down into the cavernous and raised opening of the Magna Buster, as he absorbs energy from his surroundings to power the next attack. "Come on, your job isn't done yet.. and what sort of hero would you claim to be, if you didn't try and finish the job..?" The Dark Knight mutters, more to himself than to the pilot of the Vorpal, awaiting.

Ring Man's eyes nearly bug out his head when Rock.. STEALS HIS PRECIOUS! "ARHHHHHH THEI-*thud*" He's cut off when the hammer-like object impacts with the side of his head. He's out on his feet. Looks like a standing 8 count, unless Rock smacks him again.

"Are... you... still... ALIVE?" Sounding more irritated than amazed, Protoman stares right at King as the Royal Shield Megablast flies right towards him, a mirror-like reflection of his own assault. He can't dodge this weakly.... So, he stands his ground. He's up to something... Something special. Holding the Protobuster close to his chest, Protoman stares across at his foe, as energy begins to focus around his weapon. But something is different. As opposed to the standard glow of Buster charge, instead, a blinding light reverberates from his torso. Shielding his Buster with his free arm and shield, Protoman glares forward at King, cringing as the Megablast grows nearer. "I'll rip that toy of yours to pieces!" Protoman doesn't usually speak; But he will, when he means what he says. And right now, he means utter business.

Snapping forward with one movement, Protoman's shining Buster is immediately trained forward as King's strike grows nearer... Before he lets loose. The beam that lances out of the Protobuster isn't normal; To bright as to blind any who look towards it, the power of the Big Bang Strike rushes to meet King's assault, swallowing it up as it races forward, towards the bullseye.

Blues misses King with his Big Bang Strike attack.

[OOC] Blues says, "..........................."

[OOC] Rock winces.

[OOC] Bass cackles.

[OOC] Blues says, "Oh, COME ON! I haven't missed all night!"

[OOC] Rock says, "That's why you missed now."

[OOC] Blues says, "That's just NOT FAIR! ;.;"

[OOC] Bass says, "That the first time you used it? :>"

[OOC] Rock so hates it when that happens.

[OOC] Blues says, "Yeah."

[OOC] Guts Man says, "Now King! Chop him in half!"

[OOC] Blues says, "I was hoping to break King's shield."

Centaur Man feels the bashing of hitting the statue, and before the dog makes another attempt, the hooved one grabs puppy-wuppy by the sides, and teaches him the power of horns. Behold the power of horns! Headbutt style! Woohoo!

[OOC] Blues says, "Y'know. Like in the game."

[OOC] Bass says, "Rend him asunder, King. ;>"

Centaur Man misses Rush with his Headbutt attack.

Bowie is light on his feet, but apparently not light enough. The massive slab of sidewalk catches him in the chest and left shoulder as he tries to duck out of the way, sending him sprawling. He skids to a stop against the base of the statue, his armor splintered and crumpled, a trickle of mechfluid welling up in the cavity that shouldn't normally be there. This is not going well for the former Ranger. He grimaces as he brings up his still functioning right arm, leveling the barrel of the air cannon at Charge. No sense in wasting words when the cannon will speak for him.

You miss Charge Man with your Texas Tea attack.

Charge Man(Nick) pages: What type of attaack is texas tea? a bullet blast? energy blast?

You paged Charge Man with 'It's a firebomb attack. Otherwise known as my answer to greek fire.'.

Long distance to Charge Man: Bowie forgot I had two attacks that start with Texas. I was going for another air attack. Whoops. :]

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> goes into a quick dive, the blast from the Neo Buster drifting just above it. Mike is forced back up almost as quickly as he dives, the Hunter fighting the Gs as he avoids smacking into the bay. Mike turns a nice shade of green as he speeds away, spinning around to face the now-distant battle once more. Mike tunes in monitors, closing in on the little blip that the Vorpal tells him is Bass. He hovers there, pondering his next move... next time he might not be so lucky.

King widens his eyes as Blues launches an utterly massive attack on him - but the ruler isn't going to sit around and take this one on the chin. King gathers himself, and LEAPS into the air - and his axe spins around in his hand. The Ruler bellows his defiance of his opponent - and the executioners axe flashes in the moonlight. Down comes King - his axe descending, fulling intending to

half.

King misses Blues with his Executioner's Axe Descending attack.

Blues deflects Executioner's Axe Descending from King.

Blues puts his guard down.

King brings his reflect system offline.

With a slight flick of his wrist, Rock lets the ring bounce back against the Lord of The Rings' chest, almost dispassionately. "Excuse me," he intones dully, "but I do believe I have a horse to tame." With a quick kick-jet up the side of Lady Liberty, the Hunter launches himself towards Centaur, sliding along the cool folds of the massive femme's metal skirt. The Buster glows grey, the stench of ozone tainting the sea breeze. Blue eyes burn feverishly as it whines noisily.

"Get. Away. From. My. Dog."

Even as Rush twists away from the incoming horns, the Buster spits out a tight beam of gunmetal-grey electromagnetic energy, intent on latching onto the horse Master and dragging him close for a little... 'chat'.

Rock strikes Centaur Man with his Magnet Beam attack.

Centaur Man is temporarily disoriented by Rock's Magnet Beam attack.

The moment of truth. As the Executioner's Axe comes crashing down upon him, Protoman's Buster is worn out. But he can't give up. In sixteen years of life, almost all of which have been constant fighting, he has never once given up. To surrender now would void everything he's done. Pain won't get to him - Not even the blinding pain of overloading his Buster. As the axe comes down to slash him in two, Protoman cries out, his second wind screaming to life. In a hail of sparks, the Protoshield is brought up into the Axe, cancelling it out as Protoman shoves the red hot Buster into King's midsection. "Not... Today!"

Blues strikes King with his Proto Buster 2 attack.

King falls to the ground, unconscious, due to massive systems damage.

Guts Man pffft, "What a loser."

Ring Man shakes his head clear as his precious ring is tossed uncaringly back to him. Clutching the rings and nearly going into the fetal postition as he hugs it and mutters to it, "My precious, that dirty thief tired to steal you yes, but you came back to me my precious." Oh yeah, he's lost it. Standing back up he glares at Rock's back and strikes that oh so classic discus pose. "You /will/ pay!" He screams as he hurls his Ring Boomerang at Rock.

Ring Man misses Rock with his Ring Boomerang attack.

King staggers as he is shot completely through - but he also smirks at Blues. "Not too bad - we'll have to settle this another time," he comments dryly... and looks up for a moment. "A good battle Blues..." And King tosses himself backwards off of the statues book, aiming to land in the wateres below - his eyes laughing as he looks upwards... ever upwards...

Charge Man is already on the move again, rushing forewards like his namesake. With a momentary bend in his knees, he springs forwards, launching his massive frame into the sky. His sudden leap carries him easily over the blast from the Ex-Ranger, but also towards him. As he descends, Charge raises his large arms skywards once more, preparing to swing them downwards in a destructive motion.

Charge Man misses you with his Smash attack.

[OOC] Ring Man has an unhealthy attachment to that ring.

[OOC] Rock says, "You do, yes. :D"

Leaning on his shield, Protoman leans out over the edge to watch the Royal Elite tumble to his watery doom below. Hacking up mechfluid as the Proto Buster glows bright orange from the head of the Big Bang Strike, Protoman simply takes a moment for a breather. Panting heavily, Protoman simply scowls, before helping himself up to his feet. "Hope that shield floats, you bastard." Now... He wasn't done yet. He had work to do.

[OOC] Blues realizes that King, having thrown himself over the edge, can't be Bustered.

[OOC] King mwahahahahs.

[OOC] Rock waits on Centaur, then Bass. n_n

[OOC] Blues says, "Bastard."

[OOC] Blues says, "I wanted that axe!"

Centaur Man is stunned. He's angry, but stunned. He'll get that foolish blue guy! But he can't move. WAHH! Oh well.

Bowie might be down, but he's not out. He ducks and rolls under Charge even as the Master leaps towards him. He comes up on one knee, holding his rifle at a somewhat awkward angle on account of his injured arm, his head tilted slightly in an attempt to get a decent view out of his shattered visor. Unlinke Charge, he's still utterly calm, yet determination is still etched in his features. He squeezes the trigger and fires.

You strike Charge Man with your Acid Rifle attack.

Charge Man is blasted as he comes down upon Bowie, the shot striking him dead in the chest. Luckily for Charge, he's heavily armored there, so the acid doesn't really do that much beside burn a nice little hole. However, this does cause him to completely miss with his swing as he lands. Not one to be deterred though, he again presses the assault, his arms open wide to catch Bowie in a gripping bear hug. Little does Bowie realize that his skin is superhot to the touch though.

Snapping off several transmissions across private frequencies, the Dark Knight extends his highly tuned senses in this form to take in the vast surrounds. Lady Liberty, her torch in the midst of being stolen and replaced by an ice cream cone. The Vorpal, just within range of some of his assaults. The remaining battler on the book, with someone off in the water. His arch nemesis and the canine foolio, fighting off against two of his subordinates. Right down on ground floor, two others outside of effective range. With a smirk, Magna Bass begins to float away from the cables, and down towards the statue itself, his left arm holding an elongated and heavily modified jagged blade. He holds off on assaulting the entire room for now.

Charge Man strikes you with his Superheated Skin for 13 units of damage.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> hovers there, Mike recovering for the moment... and watching Bass on the sensors. What's he up to. He starts to power up the Vorpal again, and gets ready... he may have to tempt fate again.

Charge Man(Nick) pages: you're one tough cookie =0)

You paged Charge Man with 'Thankee. :)'.

Rock grins coldly as Centaur is dragged forward, almost unaware as the Ring Boomerang slashes past overhead, blown off-kilter by a rogue gust of wind. "Lesson one," he intones in a voice far too quiet to be normal for him. "You should always be kind to animals, robotic or otherwise." The free hand curls slightly, one finger wagging in a scolding fashion, the Buster pulled back slightly as the horse-bot dangles on the magnet beam like a fish on a hook only inches from Mega Man's cold, impassive face. "Lesson two... hold still."

As Rock's Buster programming hums to life, the magnet beam which is currently connected with Centaur's body begins to initiate a large chunk of code so rare only three Reploids on the planet possess the intricate program. The datastream screams down the makeshift energy pipeline, slamming through Centaur's own programming like ice water, seeking out only one thing... The HUD lights up across his eyes, casting a grey tinge over them as he waits, quietly, even as Rush watches, head tilted, one jet sizzling fitfully.

It's probably a bad idea to keep his back to Ring, though, while he toys with Centaur...

Centaur Man forfeits his Centaur Flash to Rock.

Bowie grunts in pain as he's bearhugged and branded at the same time. His armor wasn't designed to take this sort of abuse, and so melts and squelches under the combined heat and pressure. The Texan struggles to break free, eventually wrenching a hand loose from Charge's grasp. Oddly enough, he tries to plant his fist in the Master's arm. If he makes it, a low-level sonic burst should scramble Charge's impulses temporarily. If not, well, the Texan's going to look silly flailing like that.

[OOC] Centaur Man uses +shake to unstun himself.

You strike Charge Man with your Sonic Stunner attack.

Charge Man is temporarily disoriented by Bowie's Sonic Stunner attack.

Ring Man grumbles as the unaccounted for wind messes up his aim. Holding out his hand the Ring Boomerang returns to its master without incident. Ring Man is still however FURIOUS! Putting his Ring Boomerang back in his sub-space pocket hs instead summons up multipul stacks of ring. Going into a spin he starts to hurl said stacks in a hail at Rock. As he spins he continures to pull more and more rings out of sub-space. An insane amount of rings. More rings then god! Certainly more rings than that 'forcer Ring Redwing ever could hope to have. And they're all aimed at Rock.

Ring Man strikes Rock with his More Rings Than Redwing attack.

Charge Man twitches violently as the hand strikes home, causing his systems to scramble. As a result, his arms go limp and his grasp on Bowie is released. His systems try to quickly compensate for the disruption, but it's going to take time..

[OOC] Ring Man's skills were changed to include 'More Rings than God' after that little tussle with Ring Red.

Lifting an arm to secure the Protoshield to his back, Protoman can't help but collapse onto a knee, still drained of energy. His systems slowly begin to recharge, as if he were an athlete resting his muscles... Meanwhile, he watches Rock's fight. He would be no good to him like this, however... And Megaman could take care of himself. For now. After moments of preparing, however, Protoman rises up, defiant of his injuries, before vanishing from sight. And now, the whistle can be heard on top of Megaman's battle. Looks like there's to be an interruption.

Stop toying with me Rock, you naughty person you! You need to feel a bit of pain around here, blue boy of causing sadness. Feel my wrathe, and get your hands off of the horsey merchandise! It's time to cause some pain, as the hooved vengance seeker, makes a dive towards Rock at full force, no mercy for the blue boy standing right over him, taking his primary, to miss at this range, would seem a bit rediculous, but anything is possible!

Centaur Man strikes Rock with his Charge attack.

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Rock sounds pained, static-y. "I think... things are about <fzzt> to get really ugly... how's everyone else doing?"

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> starts to pull back... it looks like he might need to do some extraction, so he gets some altitude, too...

[Radio: (C) Hunter] Bowie transmits, "Ow."

Bowie jerks himself free from Charge's bearhug, revealing that his face is about as charred as his armor. He wants a barbecue? The Texan can teach him a thing or two about that, grabbing a pop-can sized bottle from his belt, he tugs the lid free, and flings it at the disoriented Master. Greek fire, 23rd century style. Or maybe it's his secret chili sauce. Either way, it'll burn.

You strike Charge Man with your Texas Tea attack.

Guts Man has left.

With a faint chuckle, the Dark Knight raises the scythe into the air above his head, giving it a slow wave.. almost as if it were a conducting rod, no less. Which is quite apt, in fact. The chuckle increases in volume as he continues the movement, colors slowly shifting from their purple and black to a more starry black with a nice ocean blue to take up all of that pitch blackness. With alarming speed, storm clouds gather directly over Ellis Island, at the beck and call of the Dark Knight himself.

"Bwaha.. Bwahahaha.. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

There's no mistaking that laughter, as he pulls the very elements to his whimsy, the dark clouds giving way under Magna Bass' direction. From them, lightning pours, strike after strike after strike after strike, torrents of wind and hail likewise descending onto the screen itself. And for those poor fools standing on a giant copper conductor, the master of this present symphony is here to direct. For the rest, well, there's plenty of elemental goodness to go around.

Maverick Hunter VTOL <Vorpal> is caught in the perfect storm, and is tossed and turned like a ragdoll. The damage isn't enough to drop the transport... it is nasty, but the Vorpal can weather reentry... it can take this... if it avoids hitting anything else. Mike fights the controls like a man possessed, fighting off the unavoidable nausea as he's tossed around his seat nastily. The Vorpal can't do much else, though... it's not in a good way.

[OOC] Blues will pose after Rock.

Ring Man's eyes go wide as the Force Commander's massive attack slams into him. With a last desperate effort he manages to recall all his rings to subspace the momment before his body is ripped apart and *BwoOoOoO* he explodes into so many E-rings.

There's one problem with being a reploid in a thunderstorm. They become lightning rods quite easily. One moment, the battered Bowie is trying to get to higher ground, away from Charge Man. The next, he's beset by strike after strike of lightning. When the light and thunder clears...there's not much of him left. Or at least not much that's not charbroiled or sparking.

[OOC] Bowie says, "And on that note, I need to go to bed. Thanks for the fun, guys."
