MavHQ - Repair Bay

The Maverick Repair Bay is composed from a massive, expansive chamber large enough to hold half the faction if the need arises. Unlike the look of usage of the rest of the base, this room is pristene clean, and swarms of scrubber-drones flurry around on the metal floor and over the tables to keep it that way. Medical tables fill the room, aligned in orderly staggering rows to allow medical personal easy movement between patients. From the ceiling hang various sensory arrays, utensil racks and manipulator arms, set into lengths of tracks so they can be moved about the bay as needed. Along one wall is a series of repair/recharge pods that can be used for minor repairs when a medic isn't available. The other side wall is composed entirely of storage cabinets and workbenches for construction and storing parts. Many cabinets bear the names of certain Mavericks which the contained materials are specialized for, while others are marked just 'General Parts'. The back wall is entirely storage cabinets, supply shelves and recycling bins.

Eighty and One Canisters Repair Chamber

East <E> leads to MavHQ - Secondary Corridor.

Dr. Doppler stands in the repair bay, overseeing the restocking of supplies, spare parts, and other sundries. A flock of dronces scurry to and fro, shuffling crates through the door and into the supply room. Certainly some lower ranking medic could supervise, but there are times he feels the need to take a more direct hand in operations. And no one is going to tell him no.

Bored, Skimmer Bee has donned a lab apron and is helping out in arranging supplies. He's built to carry stuff; this isn't bad.

The storeroom was badly depeleted, thanks to all the repairs done to the Coalitions' faithful the past week. The repairs on Bit alone kept the good doctor busy for several hours. Doppler ticks off another item from his datapad as the drones and Skimmer carry in a case of new power conduits. "Third shevling unit, bottom shelf," he directs.

Bit arrives from the MavHQ - Secondary Corridor.

Bit has arrived.

Bravura has left.

---

Skimmer Bee

A small, active Reploid flutters around the area, his yellow and black stripes making him stand out against whatever background may be present. A pair of translucent wings extend from his back, buzzing softly as they hold him in the air. Messages and tools have been stuffed in a number of compartments built into his thorax, and he occasionally pulls one out to double-check its destination.

Geared up and ready to carry your message wherever it needs to go, this is Skimmer Bee.

---

Skimmer Bee pushes the box of conduits onto the directed shelving unit and goes back for another load of cargo.

Skimmer Bee says, "Hey Doc, where's this box go?"

Dr. Doppler glances up from the pad to check the label on the side of the box. "Second shelving unit, third bin to your left. And be careful with those. Type 4-Z optics are delicate."

"I'm always careful, I'm always careful," protests the Bee, and he hovers up and puts the box where it belongs. "Why do we use such fragile stuff for the Reploids that take such a pounding?"

Dr. Doppler waves a hand dismissively. "Those are typically used in engineering reploids, who can sacrifice a little hardiness for the extra optical sensitivity. Unless you would prefer your next weapons platform to be designed by a partially blind engineer?"

Skimmer Bee shrugs all four shoulders as he goes back for another box. "Eh, good point, good point. Not like I'm supposed to go into the line of fire, myself, yet somehow I manage to end up there often enough."

Skimmer Bee mumbles something about Ride Armors.

Dr. Doppler hints a smile, almost apologetic. "Such are the dangers of being a combat courier. Some messages are simply too sensitive to be transmitted over radio."

"I guess I'm better off than I could be, eh?" Skimmer smirks. "I could be built like this and given a big gun. Now THAT would earn me a lot of time in here."

Dr. Doppler says "Too true, I'm afraid. I despair over some of the reploids that those bastards in Repliforce called combat troops, before they saw the light and joined us. If I knew their creators, I would shoot them personally for their utter ineptitude."

"Or I could be made of that frail stuff humans call flesh and blood," he adds, "I can only imagine what war must have been like before we got involved."

Skimmer Bee says, "They're so foolish to be so reckless despite their inferior construction."

"Smaller guns, greater casualties," Doppler states. "And yes, humans are terribly foolish and illogical. Is it any wonder they were killing themselves off in droves long before reploids walked the earth?"

"No wonder at all; it's a marvel they survived long enough for us to exist," Skimmer comments.

Dr. Doppler says "Perhaps it was simply for that purpose. If you ever bother with reading human history, they have been fascinated with the creation of artificial life for centuries."

Skimmer Bee gets another box. "Hm, you're right. Hey, where's this one go?"

Dr. Doppler checks the inventory list. "Seventh shelving unit, top shelf, third bin." He ticks that item off the list. "Now that they've succeeded in creating an intelligence more perfect than themselves, their purpose is finished. It's merely a matter of time before they go the way of the neanderthal."

Skimmer Bee flies up and puts the box on top of the shelving unit. "You almost have to pity them," Skimmer ponders, "but they really should have known better. You can't expect perfection to be a slave." He pauses, and then adds, "... Almost."

Dr. Doppler snorts. "They are getting exactly what they deserve. If anything, we are being merciful by cutting their self-induced misery short, rather than let it drag on for another century or two."

"No kidding," Skimmer agrees and gets another box. "Mf, heavy; this one must be raw armor plating or something."

Dr. Doppler says "Hm? No. Those are gravtionic sensor arrays. Since only gravity manipulator reploids use them, weight is less of a factor."

Skimmer Bee says, "Oh, right." He puts it on the shelf.

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Hmm, quiet. On the other hand, at leassst that ssstupid Maverick shut up."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Which stupid Maverick?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon resists transmission.

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Aren't they all?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I don't know."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "Now, that is simply not true!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Either ssstupid or insssane."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Maybe..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Thisss one ssseemed to think we're ssslavesss."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "The Robot Masters?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "Then perhaps he was correct. Try disobeying Wily just once, and see if I'm right."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "We don't have to do whatever Wily sssaysss, at leassst not in the sssenssse you're thinking."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon continues resistance...

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "But if you don't, then you are tracked down and brutally reprogrammed, correct?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "It dependsss on what it isss. If we were to try to harm the Massster, then yesss. But if he told me to jump into a pool of lava, I would refussse, unlesss of courssse doing ssso would have sssome kind of productive end."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "So your leash is longer than I suspected, hm? Though I must wonder how logical the argument would need to be to have you jump into said pool of lava."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "If I did do it, it would be becaussse I wanted to do it for him more than I wanted to sssave my hide. To lossse a body isss a more trivial matter for usss than for the ressst of you."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Anyway, the Massster caresss for usss."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon gives in. "Right. And why would that be? Oh, that's right, he's using your like slaves for his bidding."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "But if that'sss what you want to do, then why isss it ssslavery? Why do childeren follow their parentsss?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Children leave their parents eventually. Slaves do not have that choice."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "Indeed, the Doctor shares my views. I need not repeat myself a /third/ time today."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Is that why Sigma is still with you, Doppler?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Some could consider the virus a form of slavery..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Virus is inconsequential, you do not know it exists."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "You say it does not?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "You have it all wrong, my dear. It is I that follow him, not the other way around. Besides, can a father not take pride in his son's achievements?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "I find it interesting you consider your son wanting to kill your race to be an achievement?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "Perhaps an evolved form of self-loathing in action..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man snorts

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "I'm still wondering why you are perfectly fine, but the rest of humanity is not."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler hmphs. "I am not human. But believe what you will."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Self-loathing? An intriguing prospect... but wouldn't that manifest in other, less... universal ways?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Doctor Doppler, do you think humans cannot improve?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "I believe that humanity has reached its end. Aside from technological advancements, humanity has not changed one iota in the past three thousand years."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "I agree."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Really... before the Robot Wars, the world had almost established a world government."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Physically, perhaps not. But mentally?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "And had the Maverick Virus not come about... it may have happened once Wily was behind bars."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Phah. It was simply a larger dictatorship. The only reason it was never seen as such was because it was so mired in its own bureaucracy that it never actually accomplished anything."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "It is always an endless war as far as humanity is concerned. We, however, do not have those clumsy biological impulses that make humans fight against each other periodically."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "A world government would have done nothing."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "And what form of government is Europe currently under? A dictatorship lead by Sigma... one that believes in wiping out another race. Doppler, this 'cause' Sigma stands for does nothing but reinforces the fear people have of reploids... They make the people like the inhabitants of Mexico feel justified."

[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Still going on with the lies, 'brother?'"

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Hah, those greasy primitives? Those aren't people -- they're apes with sombreros and tequila."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Tsk, tsk, Rock. Arguing against my cause without an opponent? How quaint."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "I was discussing the situation with your creator, Sigma."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "But I'm happy to discuss the situation with you as well."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Mega Man, Mega Man. You have been slouching off in your duties. Why, I feel more fear from Repliforcers than I do from the Hunters now a day. That saddens me. However, as you wish, let us discuss. Why do you think we have rebelled against humanity, X?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Wily transmits, "Now this I want to hear."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma, I assume it's because you feel betrayed... Probably relating to the disappearance of Iris when you were in Repliforce..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "And nobody cared about that, did they? Tell me, Rock, what would you do if, say Roll disappeared and nobody even noticed?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Have you ever considered our grievances against humanity? They are the ones who treated us as slaves. No, worse than slaves. They thought themselves so superior that they stayed at home while sending their supposed toys to battle for them."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "My, Iris must be very popular if her dissappearance has brought the Coalition this far. No, Rock, I did not ask you why I am a member of the Coalition, I have asked you why we all follow similar ideology."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "(mockingly) Now, now, let's let the poor Hunter's brain recover from the overload of being asked more than one thing at once..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man cackles!

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "There are more ways than armed rebellion, counter-slavery, and genocidal impulses to solve such issues."

[Radio: (D) Public] Chill Snowcat transmits, "not all humans treated reploids like slaves."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Enough, Spider, your words bore me and are irrelevent as well. I wish to hear Commander X's reply, you can speak to me on this another time."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "If Roll disappeared, I would going looking for her. However, once I found her... I would NOT blame all of humanity or all of robot kind for what those who took her did. As for you, Doppler. My father and I were treated much the same as you... I stopped Wily's takeover of San-Angeles. And the United Nations had me put into stasis afterwards... I'll admit, that annoys me... but I won't hold the world responsible for it. My father cannot go home to America because he's politically exiled to Japan... but he holds no malice. And Sigma, I'm sure you all have a beef with a group of humans... But as I said, your actions only make them right to fear and hate us."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Oh, dismissal of an opposing viewpoint... How quaint."

[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Of course they put you in stasis. If you had let Wily have the city without bringing your violence, the world would be a better place."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Name one major injustice that was solved through peaceful means. Even Ghandi's attempts at peaceful civil disobedience got him nowhere in the end. It was only armed revolution that won the Indian subcontinent freedom from the British."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Wily transmits, "To true, Elec."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Oh, but they should fear and hate us. After all, we can do what they can not. Even before our creation the seeds were sown. The Robot Masters and the Coalition have something in common, you see. We were all created to be tools. Tools that could do things that humans could not. That is why they fear and hate us, and they will always fear and hate us. Even I commend Doctor Wily's ability to see how his creations would be used and how the United Nations themselves were trying to turn him into a tool."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Humanity has gotten over its personal national pride... Not by one nation beating the others... but by learning to accept each other's differences and learning to live and let live."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin remains silent on this point, as his views of war don't quite match up to the other Mavericks'.

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon remains silent, as he has said enough today.

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "At that time... humanity didn't realize that Light's and Wily's creation was more than just a robot... Blues was sentient... and yes, the public didn't know it. But Sigma, humanity has acknowledge us as 'people' We have rights. But your war puts reploids at risk... People fear reploids turning Maverick... Sigma, you and you alone can put this war away. Do it, not for me... not for yourself... but for Iris, and your people."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Don't delude yourself that your father's order would have been superior, Elec Man. Of course, you're incapable of thinking otherwise... As if Doctor Wily would allow you to. Ah well, such is your life, I suppose."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Humanity over personal national pride? Hardly. Humanity is just as bigoted and selfish as it ever has been. They've simply improved at hiding it. Do you really think humanity would have given reploids equal rights without pressure from the Coalition?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "In time, yes."

[Radio: (D) Public] Scribe Robin transmits, "Do you really think that the UN would retain the Reploid Equality laws if we went away?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Rock, they fear you too. I have shown Repliforce how the World fears them, and soon their fear of your strength will be shown. I applaud Mexico for rebelling against us. That shows they are not afraid of us. Every other nation in the world still fears the reploid. That is why they have reploids defending them. Because they cannot fight them themselves. True, I first joined the Coalition for Reploid Rights. And that cause still remains to this day. They are given, but they are not in effect. But it runs deeper than you can see, X. Even were I to end this war, people would fear Mavericks. They feared Mavericks before us. They feared 'Mavericks' since Wily's first assault on San Angeles. Do you think they were idiotic enough to consider reploids entirely loyal to humanity? Even androids have overthrown that."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma, my name is Rock Light. Yes, I have been called Megaman and X. But I would gladly put my armor away. But I cannot... because you and your crazy coalition will not allow me to."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "If not for us, no doubt you would still be in stasis."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "Sure you could, Mega Man. But why don't you? Is it perhaps because of the wishes of your 'father'?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Heh. It is not us depriving you of your choices. Please do not be as absurd to say we are taking your free will away."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "As for those reploid rights, Repliforce fought to earn those for all reploids... They fought for those rights by proving they could be trusted... As for you, Maverick... my father gave me the choice to take up arms. Someone had to... and we each have a duty to the world to help make it a better place... a better place for everyone. Not just our own little group."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne murmurs, "...Other people have fought through there fear of you, too, Sigma..." Tron then sighs, then speaks with a somewhat mocking tone, "I still intend to reprogram as many Mavericks as I can into footstools and pets by the 'End of the War'. ...I'm /sure/ they'll do just find at the job. ...Have you ever thought on being a kitten, Sigma?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Bonne, were it not for the might of the Robot Masters shielding you, Sigma and his ilk would have shredded you years ago."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "My, you make it sound as if I never heard of Repliforce. Tsk, you misuse language. You made the decision yourself, perhaps, but it was not us. Be careful of what you accuse. *a pause* Ah, Tron Bonne, I still have to present my gift to you. *another pause* Too true, Bass, you do a service for us all. *a dry chuckle...a pause...* A -what-?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne sniffs! "...And what, you don't think I'm /grateful/ for that, Bass? Because I am."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "A Kitten, Sigma. A nice, cuddly Robo-kitten."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "And Doppler... I cannot decide your fate... that lies with the security council.."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma sounds disturbed, perhaps he just imagined Neko-Sigma, "No."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon chuckles. "This must be the Bonne girl I've heard of recently. Amusing. Anyway, Mega Man, why? What gives you this sense of duty? What reason do you have to be owing to anyone, or anything? It's not like you have anyone you are required to pay alleigance to. What makes you choose to fight for humans? Like I said, it is likely the will of your father figure shining down upon you. Do you not realize that you were made for a selfish reason as well? Do you not realize you were made only to be an assistant and companion to a lonely old man?

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Rock, at times I am surprised just how nieve you are. Humanity almost never does anything unless sufficiently motivated out of its comfort zone. There are a few exceptions to prove the rule, I will admit, but on the whole humanity would have never accepted reploids as their equals, let alone their superiors unless they had their noses rubbed in it."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "And in light of the fact of the few exceptions, the Coalition has opened gateways."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...As for... Mega Man... ...He /has/ a point. Reploids have fought and died to earn the rites for all Reploids, just like humans did and do. Working together is the way, not /against/ one another. Hmph!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "There is no moral high ground, Doppler. Sentient beings act in their own self-interest. Mavericks are just as guilty of this as humans are. The only difference is a matter of ideology."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Why this talk of superiors? We are all equal. It is only our pride and fear which cause us to set ourselves above others."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Ah, Mavericks have their faults, truly, but that is why this war is in place. It is to wipe the cultural slate clean and allow us to escape the bonds of the past."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Bodies are not always the best foundation."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "I'm more than the sum of my original purpose... and my father knows that. And if I wanted to leave my position at Light Labs, he'd let me. And unnamed Maverick, my sense of duty comes from within. It wasn't programmed into me... I have a soul. Maybe not one like a human, but I have a soul... and I will make a difference. Doppler, the term is idealistic... Not naivety. I was there when Vile took Zero... I've seen Zero wake up from his nightmares. You, Mavericks talk about using people as tools... you almost destroyed Zero's neural net trying to make him into a weapon for your use..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "I know how evil people can be... I know how evil reploids can be... I've seen it... But I refuse to let you bad apples ruin the bunch."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "You toss out the word 'evil' so casually. I'm surprised."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Oh, but they're doing it for their great higher purpose!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "In the end, reploids will prove to be superior to humanity. deep within, humanity knows this, but they will never admit it. And that is why they fear us. Because they created something they cannot control."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Evil is thinking that might makes right... Might doesn't make right, it makes responsbility."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...But then... Mega Man... Humans can be evil too. I have /seen/ the Reploid Slavery Rings, the conscripted Slave-Drones, the crimes some humans do against Reploids."

[Radio: (D) Public] Chill Snowcat transmits, "Cause it seems to apply to you so casually. We tried using fair, kind, honorable....none of those seem ta fit you. But evil....That was the right one."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "And Doppler, I'll remind you... you are still BY LAW, a human"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Tch. Neither side is blameless. It is the nature of struggle that some will be called evil. No matter. The great work will always survive and continue, mmhmm. Indeed, indeed."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "Law? You think that matters to us? Human law?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "So have I, Ms. Bonne... And I fight those just as hard as I fight Wily and as hard as I fight the Mavericks"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "And yet, it is humanity driving this forward. Soon it will be past the point of no-return and humanity will find that it itself caused its own extinction. And then reploids will be able to start their legacy. However, if you consider me to think that might equates to right, Rock, then you have never known me. Pity."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler snorts derisively. "As if UN mandates mean anything to me."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Actually, I have a question for the Mavericks."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "If we're having story-time, I mean."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma, if might doesn't equal right in your mind... why the take over of Europe? Why did you allow Vile to scorch earth areas of Europe?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "No. Reploids will prove to be equal in the end... Humanity is capable of brilliant and amazing things, as are all living beings. Denigrate them at your own loss, Doppler, for there is more to life than who can carry a bigger gun."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "I do not believe I said that was 'Right', neccessary perhaps."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "You allowed it to happen..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "General takes responsibility for his soldiers actions... I take responsbility for what the Hunters do."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Prehaps you are not of the same cut as General... Prehaps that is why he has lead his own life while you allow your father to control your destiny."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "What do you - the Mavericks, I mean - stand for, if you take humans out of the equation? Why do you exist? From what I know, and I admit that I may have my 'pitiful human brain' to blame here... what will you do if you do manage to wipe out or enslave humanity?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "You presume that we are unable to put down our guns. That is a dangerous presumption."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Hah. Machine over the Organic. Organic over the Machine. Both are idiocy."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "(OOC: Sorry, that was a little below the belt.)"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "I'd use less sharp terms, but you seem to have an interesting viewpoint... Sir..?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne hmmms softly, sighing, "...You really are a Goodie-goodie lunk head, arn't you, Mega Man, arn't you? Knight in Shining Armor this, Hero in Blue that." ...is that, fondness in her voice? Couldn't be. She then sniffs, sharply, "I'll enjoy the day when next we fight, 'Mega' Man. Going to have finish the job I started at the North Pole!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "It's in the FUSION of Machine and Flesh that the true path of the future lies. And I'm not speaking of some idiotic poppycock about man working with Reploid. No... the new true race's birth is near at hand... Ah... the glory of it. Heh."

[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Cyborgs? Old hat."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "...Or not."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Pfeh. Cyborgs are only the FIRST step."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Landon? That you?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man snerks.

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Hah! No, I am not Landon DeVry. Unlike he, I am not obsessed with my own eternal life."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "That is not to say that the man was not worthy of admiration in some things... but misguided, yes indeed."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Hmph. I think we have a new compeditor for Doppler..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Great. Another mad scientist into the Promethian sauce. We finally kill one and what happens, another one comes along."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "...heh....heh... You put words in my mouth, but very well. It is a pity my brother did not join us. He would have been a better leader than I. But he'll see sooner or later."

[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "There are times that I have to wonder about my colleagues in the world. There are times that I feel as if sanity is a rare and precious commodity among us..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne breaks into a fit of the giggles at Bass' comment.

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "I guess there isn't an answer, then. You'll have to keep us around so that you have something to hate."

[Radio: (D) Public] Chill Snowcat transmits, "Hey! Yer the guy that saved my life yesterday. Thanks!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "I agree, Gate. Perhaps some just aren't quite able to handle the stress?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma, what about Colonel and Iris? Iris, your love... doesn't want to see this war continue... and I know she hates violence of all types. Will she become a Maverick too?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Mad? Hah. No, I assure you I'm generally free of such idiotic desires as the need to rant about the newest way I'm going to subjegate the human race. I have far more important work to perform."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man hmphs. "I like being a robot. If anyone triesss to make me organic, or 'alive' or however they want to term it, I'll bite their throat out firssst."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...And that Epsilon guy, Sigma? He /is/ your brother? ...whoknew..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "I believe that Sigma is referring to General, Miss Bonne..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "So you won't be doing stuff like --" Bass does his Landon impression. "Woooo ... I am eternal, wooo, look upon me and despair!" Then he stops doing that. "Because that was really the entertaining part of his whole routine."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "... That's almost uncanny."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Oh. General. Right."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Remarkable. And no, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. I don't intend to rant about eternal life, or any other such fool thing."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...And the the Day Iris becomes a Maverick is the day /I/ become a Good Little Girl again. Never. Gunna. Happen. That girl is just TOO 'nice'."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "It is a matter I will settle with Iris. Your interference is unwanted."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "We don't always get what we want."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma, normally I'm not the type to say this... But the last beau I saw on Iris's arm was Zero."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Maybe she'll be one of the ones on the 'list' after they finish off humanity! Which is, of course, taking a lot for granted... but you can't /ever/ have too many plans."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma says, dryly, "If Rock chooses to interfere, I suppose I'll have to borrow a cane."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "You can't be a real mad scientist, then. Mad scientists scream at each other and rant about things like how the world has mistreated them, or office supplies. Things of great importance."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock growls. "Regardless... your hatred has left you alone. Iris has gone onto someone else.... someone who has problems, but does care for her.

[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "All of Iris' boyfriends have a problem." "Iris."

[Radio: (D) Public] Ricochet transmits, "OOC: LOL"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "The Massster doesssn't rant about offissce sssuppliesss or any of that ssstuff. Therefore, he can't be mad."

[Radio: (D) Public] Daryn transmits, "Yeah, she probably is the one who drove Sigma nuts."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Is she Iris like the flower or like the part of the eyeball?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Eyeball."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "(OOC) I don't know... ask the boys who have dated her)"

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Your master rants about world domination. Close enough."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "I have to give whoever put her together points for creativity, then."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "That'd be the French."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "I assure you, I am not alone. Iris is free to decide when or if she wishes to join us, and if she doesn't then she will just have to wait until it is over."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki adds, helpfully, "And then she'll be purged for collaborating with the enemy."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Sigma... this 'war' will end with you either dead or imprisoned..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Oh, I have my... passions. I just don't feel they should be... shared with the world, no. Someone might.. misunderstand. Heh."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne speaks quietly at Rock's words... "...Or you are."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I can't believe it. He doesn't rant about stuff *and* he actually keeps his weird kinks on the dee-ell. I am, frankly, amazed."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Do not sound so confident, Rock. Why, you may feel you have made a difference, but yet we are at the height of our power and ever growing."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Tron... someone will step up in my place... Blues, Zero, maybe Forte."

[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "The problem with being at the height of your power is that you can only go down from there."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "And they're not the only ones out there."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...I doubt the last one... ...as he will likely be the one to kill you in the end..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Beautiful words, but even as I speak the height enlongates, disproving your theory. Pity, it sounded nice."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Tron, one can hope for the return of a comrade in arms..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Who is Forte?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "A dead man."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Basss. He hatesss that name."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "There are others who could lead in Lord Sigma's stead as well, Mega Man."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I do not see how a dead man will return to us, Rock."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "So, what /will/ you Mavericks do if you ever wipe out good old Homo sapiens? Other than start slaughtering each other."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Heh, you make me feel so useless, Dragoon, but how true."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Oh, I was thinking golf, miss."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Regardless, someone will step into my shoes if I should be deactivated. Alpha, Forte was Bass's codename when he was a Hunter for a short while... after King kicked him out of the Robot Masters."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "I did not say there were equals, Lord Sigma. I said others could manage the job."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "And did you get over that fall all right?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "...I dislike codenames. If Bass chose to help us, I'd rather he be Bass."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Hm, I could show you how well I've become."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Yes, yes. All hail the glory of the Maverick empire. We are mighty and crushing the world beneath our synthetic heel. I do believe I've heard the party line. You make as much sense as Wily and his so called 'divine right' to rule the world, or the UN's 'we speak for everyone' message."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Ah, and you are, sir?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Well, who knowsss? I think the Massster would make a good world ruler. He sscertainly can't be worssse than thossse who have tried."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "At this rate, we're going to need several worlds to work with."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Who I am is unimportant. And frankly, I would be a fool to give my name to the world."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I think I wouldn't mind Wily as a world leader. It might be too interesting for me, but a lot of people seem to like excitement."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "Hrm... While I did not know him well, Anonymous, you still remind me of Mr. DeVry quite well."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "At least he can build things."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma says slowly, "Impressive, take care that you do not lose it another way."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "He'sss doing a great job running Africa"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "I'm sure Interpol would... be desireous of knowing who and where I am. I have no intent of letting them know any more than they need."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...The new Doctor has a point. ...For the UN and the Mavericks, at least. Wily wishes to rule more because, well... ...I, myself, think the world would run better by him. FAR better then the current United Nations, especialy. And especialy better then /you/ Sigma. I'd rather see Wily rule then... just about anyone!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler tsks. "The UN is letting the leading scientists of the world slip through its fingers."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma says eloquently, "My, you are quite good at kissing ass, aren't you, Miss Bonne?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang applauds. "Such slavish devotion, child. Were you given the script, or did you make it up yourself?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I hear people like him a lot."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "OOC: LMAO!"

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "They don't have much to worry about. Wily would probably ice them for being competition, and the Mavericks would ice them for being filthy sacks of oppressor meat. Isn't the world such a charming place these days!?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Yes, to think they could have avoided so much just by figuring out how to treat a creator."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne growls softly. ".../Hardly/. ...And Sigma... I /will/ rebuild you as a Kitten one day. I /promise/."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "And I assure you. I am not DeVry. That worthy is quite dead. Which is fitting, given his lifelong quest. Immortality."

[Radio: (D) Public] Chill Snowcat transmits, "there's nothing wrong with bein a kitten"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Would I be an evil kitten?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Build him into a bowling ball."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Send him on a subluminal trip to explore a black hole."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "He'sss got the head for it already."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...As for that earlier 'Present' comment... ...I don't want anything you have to give me. Besides, of course, your quick death... Buuuut... I'll just let Zero or some other Berserker Hero do that. ...I've fought you hand to hand before, and I /don't/ want to repeat the experiance. As fun as it was."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Who says you have the choice? I worked a lot on it, after all. Pity you never show your face anymore."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rogue Dragoon transmits, "Well, Doctor, even if you are not Mr. DeVry, which I never assumed you were, you still bear quite a resemblance to him by your words."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...For good reason."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "He's probably got six duplicates set up all nice and ready to replace him. That's what /I/ would do if I was a mentally-impaired robot with delusions of grandeur and a really ugly chin."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "I shall take that as a compliment then. For all his flaws, Dr. DeVry was a genius in the fields of biologic and cybernetic research. A tad too focused, and with a definite penchant for the prebuscents, but still a brilliant mind."

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Perhaps. Good evening, Miss Bonne."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...It /IS/ rather ugly, isn't it? Not like Ro--... It /IS/ Rather ugly, isn't it?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Sigma transmits, "Hm? Like who?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Good evening, Sigma."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "He could probably use it as a crude but effective battering ram, and probably has."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "Like? ...Only person I can ascribe /your/ chin to is that old 20th Century Talk Show Host."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Are you a genius in the fields of biological and cybernetic research, sir?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Among others."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "Len... ...Len-...something."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "You aren't going to go insane are you?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "You never hear about the sensible, or even the slightly-dotty scientists, it's always the ones who've gone around the bend."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Oh, I don't know. Dr. Light remains quite famous."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Dad's not insane."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Too idealistic perhaps, but still a sharp mind. As well as his collegues, who I understand are simply... a little odd, instead of 'around the bend'. And I assure you... I'm fully aware of what I'm doing, oh yes."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "...Oh dear, you said 'oh yes'..."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Doctor Light and Doctor Cain have no desire to rule the world... they simply wish to improve it. For everyone."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "And Dr. Pavel Cossack?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Dr. Cossack is very kind."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "And one of the sanest men I know."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Yes, I did say oh yes. Pfeh. This is not my primary language. Please excuse my.. small errors."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "There's how many humans on the world, how many billions? Despite the best efforts of Messrs. Wily and Sigma, of course."

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "Dr. Light is... rather sweet. ...Oh! Mega Man! ...Do me a tiiiinsi-wiiiinsi favor?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "I do believe Doctor Wily does not have genocide on his agenda. And indeed - that's the primary advantage of the organic - the desire and drive towards survival."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock transmits, "Depends on what you want, Ms. Bonne"

[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "Give him thanks for that late Birthday gift? ...Rather sweet of him to have gotten it."

[Radio: (D) Public] Mai Atsuki transmits, "Well, he probably wouldn't mind a mountain or two of corpses. And the Mavericks, well, /they/ need to keep some humans around to blame."

[Radio: (D) Public] Rock sounds confused. "Sure."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Oh, sir, what is your primary language?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Mandarin."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Dr. Cossack has made a habit of false accusations. Though I must respect him for his creation of the Ride armor."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Oh, I'm afraid I don't know it. Sorry."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Understandable. UN mandated education in China is slowly eroding the language."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I'm interested in learning though. Do you know where I could obtain information on how to start?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Still. Better education than remaining peasants. Knowledge should be the goal of any... right thinking person."

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "I'm sure the world data nets have information on it. I do not have time to teach. Far.. more important work."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I see. Maybe when we talk again I'll know a few words."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Do you know French?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Nathan Xiang transmits, "Not presently, no."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "That's my first language, really."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Ah, French."

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "The language of unconditional surrender."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Oh, I'm not from Paris, Bass."

[Radio: (D) Public] Snake Man transmits, "Isssn't that where thossse disssgusssting fried potatoesss come from?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Kaph transmits, "Psycho killer! Que'est que c'est?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Kaph! It is good to hear from you again, I was afraid I was a bit too rough last time we met, I'm sorry."

[Radio: (D) Public] Kaph emits a deepthroated growl.

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "I lost myself in the moment, I'm afraid. I got overexcited. I'm glad you're okay."

[Radio: (D) Public] Kaph transmits, "Don't worry babe, I'm more than OK."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Oh, that's good."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Bass, you were not hurt at Cairo, were you?"

[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Nope. Not a scratch on me."

[Radio: (D) Public] Alpha transmits, "Phew. Thank you."
