[Radio: (D) Public] Gate is suddenly, perfectly calm. "Godspeed in your work, Elegy. I can only hope what I have retrieved from that hellish place will shed some light on a cure."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "Thank you, Gate. I hope for all our sakes that it does."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "Wait. You're not a Maverick?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "Who are you?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "My name is Elegy. I'm a gravedigger."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "AH."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "Ah. A hardworking one, then."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "Be careful, then. The city is...not well."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "I'm getting out of here...."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "I was about to say... are you going to be safe there..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "I will be--but thank you for the warning. And--yes. Hardworking." Another sigh. "Stay safe, please."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "We've already lost one too many bright souls to this."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Anyone that dies does so because they aren't strong enough to survive. If they can't do that then they don't have the /right/ to survive."
[Radio: (D) Public] Javelin Whitetail transmits, "I'll keep that in mind."
[Radio: (D) Public] Glaive transmits, "..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy's tone becomes stern. "Don't let Epsilon catch you saying that, Buster Rod. For your sake."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "I promise that I will be there to spit on you grave, Buster Rod G. In this universe, there is _always_ someone smarter, faster, stronger, and more ruthless than you are."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G makes a comtemptuous noise. "You'd better make sure that you survive to see my grave, Doctor."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate makes a smug chuckle. His only reply.

<Text Only Message.>
Today, the Maverick Hunters Zero, Liese, Alpha, and the Interceptor lead an attack against one our of Ride Armor creation facilities. Not a raid, a pure. Simple. Attack. Because I was already there with the plant, coordinating production, I rallied the troops and activated the sentry guns. Then our allies arrived: Sigma, Psychogenesis, Alexandria and myself, using the Manticore Ride armor. All was going well, I had caused the Maverick Hunter War Machine to flee, and it was... Normal. Psychogenesis failed against Alpha, and I knew not of the confrontation between the two cyborgs.
However then things... Declined. I took on Alpha, with the addition of 'Sasha' appearing to try and defeat me. Zero and Sigma continues to fight. Apparently, Zero did well, because before I knew it, Imperal Sigma stood before me, and the torn land in it's wake. I defeated Alpha, and was suceeding against Sasha until then, finally.
... ...
Sigma used an attack, the likes of which I have never seen. It took out everything. The land, the ride armor, the opponents. Everything. By the time I got out of the ride armor, however, Blues had came. I am not sure, their bodies suggest a battle the likes of which I have never seen... But it lasted mere moments. Whatever the cause, in this period our leader. Our Emporer. Our hope, and guiding light Sigma - Had been extinguished. At first, I did not believe it. It was not possible. However the same fate appears to have met his slayer, the acrused Proto Man. The fallout caused our leader's death was causing problems for my systems, and I therefore had to flee, taking Alexandria in hand and protecting her from the radiation.
The Manticore is ruined, and I fear irretrievable... However, though this dark deed, Proto Man. Forever a thorn in our side, as well as 'Zero' of the Maverick Hunters, is dead. As is our Sigma. He is, I am sorry to say... Now, and forever more: Dead as well.
With Respect.

Laboratory/Medical Center - MavBerlin
One of the most well-lit areas of the underground base, this series of laboratories are in a black marble hallway, each sealed off with a heavy, blast-proof door. With little variation, the half-dozen or so labs contain similar equipment: large sterile tables, racks of electronic equipment, and computer systems with backups tied to the Maverick mainframe just down the hallway. A larger door in the back of the hall allows entry to Dr. Doppler's personal laboratory: usually sealed tight during important experiments.
Alexandria [Operative] [M] Vile's Laboratory <VL>
Infinity's Weapons Lab <IWL> Spike's Laboratory
Repair Chamber Dr. Doppler's Laboratory [#4892 Ten]
West <W> leads to Computer Core - MavBerlin.
From within Doppler's lab, there are sounds of movement. Very loud movement. As in the sounds of glassware breaking and metal clattering movement.
The massive cacophony of noise manages to stir Alexandria from her unconsciousness and she opens her eyes. Awake for the first time since the battle the previous day the girl is abit muddled at first and looks around trying to figure out where she is and what happened. A medical drone scoots over to the side of her bed and raises a slender arm to press against her chest. "Lie still cyborg unit. You are not cleared for release."
The sounds of thowing things continues, the din growing steadily louder as the size of the objects thrown continues to increase. At some point there is a mighty *CRASH* of files, reports, and other random things all finding the floor at once.
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "Well, that's done. Now there's only left to...is there a Coalition commander of rank on this channel, perhaps?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler's voice is sharp and to the point. "What do you want?" There is the crash of something falling in the background.
[Radio: (D) Public] Job transmits, "Well it seems its time to dispose of the trash."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Ho ho ho, someone's in a bad mood."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy transmits, "What remains of Sigma I could find."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy's voice softens. "I thought it only fitting to bring him back home."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler's voice softens. "Sigma....my son...."
[Radio] Vile sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Turn off your radio, Doppler. You are embarrasing yourself."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Give it up, Doc."
The particularly loud crash sends the girl shooting upright, so that she can twist around to find its source. That of course is hidden behind the doors of the labratory. Ignoring the drone Alex pushes off the table to her feet and promptly falls to her knees in pain. Her vision swims for a few moments but the drone quickly grabs hold of her and lifts her to her feet. "I told you."
Alex just grits her teeth and points at the door. "I don't want to leave. Just take me to that door." The drone stares at her, atleast she thinks it's staring at her, before beeping a couple times. "As you wish." With the help of the machine the cyborg limps her way over to Doppler's lab and presses the call button on the panel outside. "Master Doppler? Is everything alright?"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Red Bomber: Crash Man transmits, "Awww, poor Dopply. Looks like Mister Clean's dead."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy says gently, "I'm sorry. I know this is not easy for you, doctor. Where should I bring..." He seems to struggle for a moment. "...him?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "My condolences, Doctor Doppler. I am truly sorry."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Shut up, automaton!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "NYA HA!! Baldie's dead! WOOHOO!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "It is kind of sad."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Why don't you tell us to shut up...to our face?"
[Radio] Vile sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "You cannot seem to hear me. Turn off your radio."
[Radio: (D) Public] Wow! It's Dr. Wily transmits, "Sigmund."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "He was /perfect/! PERFECT! The closest any being could ever hope to attain!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Job transmits, "Oh my the butcher actually can feel? I'm in shock! Now know how it feels to lose family Doppler. It doesn't matter I'm sure your son has a special place in the fires of hell."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Red Bomber: Crash Man transmits, "He died. He's not THAT perfect."
[Radio: (D) Public] Big Bad Sword Man transmits, "Those believing themselves to be perfect never are. Nothing is without flaw."
[Radio: (D) Public] Magnet Man transmits, "Maybe you could spruce up his burial with a nice pair of Armani shoes?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dynamo transmits, "What in the hell is wrong with you hypocritical machines?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Magnet Man transmits, "I'd say a suit, but, ya know..."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Red Bomber: Crash Man transmits, "Let's go dance on his tomb when they bury what's left of him!"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Come on, Doppler. Let's end this once and for all. What do you say?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Magnet Man transmits, "We can dig 'im up and make some snazzy boots!"
[Radio] Dr. Wily sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Unlike some of my sons, I would like to express my deepest sympathies for your loss."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dynamo transmits, "You ask them to mourn your fallen Bass and the half-dozen times Wily has faked his death, yet you can't pretend to be respectful when Sigma dies?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "None of you understand! None of you ever will!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "They can't."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Red Bomber: Crash Man transmits, "Dad is important enough. Sigma isn't."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy sounds perfectly calm. "Could you Robot Masters please save your accusations until a later time? I'm trying to speak to the doctor."
[Radio: (D) Public] General Vile smoothly interjects with a hiss, "Doppler, for the last time, turn off your radio. You are... emotional."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "You stole two of my children from me, Doppler. Yet, I cannot fault you for the pain you feel now."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "How many children have been stolen from me, Gate? How many?! Every reploid that walks this earth is my child, even the ones made by those misbegotten bastards at the UN!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "Stolen? You, who have to -infect- healthy reploids just to get them to see your point of view, have the nerve to ask such a question?"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, ""Don't think you can survive a second encounter, is that it?!""
[Radio: (D) Public] General Vile now speaks to the backdrop of heavy boots clunking on steel floors, "Doppler," he intones again.
[Radio: (D) Public] Job transmits, "You infect our minds with a virus and call it freedom? Please all the mavericks are your slaves Doppler."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler's answer is a very loud crash - like heavy furniture being thrown.
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Reploids will outlive you, but I'll send them all to you. Somehow. Come on, love."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elegy sighs heavily.
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "Sigmund. I know how you feel. But, please-take a nap. You'll feel better."
Almost without warning, the lab's doors buckle as something very large - quite possibly a desk? - is thrown against it.
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Is that how you deal with stuff? Sleeeep the problems awaaayy!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "It was that, or walk around in thong underwear and try and conquer earth. I suppose we'll find out who was right, soon enough."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Albert...Albert...surely you of all people understand. After Requiem..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass giggles like a small child. Uh-oh.
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "grh.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Wow! It's Dr. Wily transmits, "I do indeed, Sigmund."
Alexandria staggers backwards and stumbles onto her rear, wincing at an unexplained pain in her head. The drone scoots over to pick her up again and she takes a few moments to let the red in her vision fade out. Her hand goes back up to the pad and slaps all the buttons at once hoping one of them is the door release. "Master Doppler. I'm coming in..." Maybe.
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man meeps at Bass's transmission. For now he quiets down, wary of his powerful Brother.
The door hisses on its tracks, then screeches as the bowing prevents them from opening more than a third of the way. It'll be a tight squeeze.
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Who the Requiem, and why does the name induce giggles in Bass?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "She is Bass's sister. I am afraid she is dead."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "Trust an ape to be so tactless."
Fortunately Alexandria is a very petite girl. But instead of immediately slipping through the crack she leans her head up to it and peers inside, making sure it is actually safe to enter. Crazy as it might seem she doesn't want to step right into a fight. "Master Doppler...?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "Now, Gate, he didn't know. We must be patient."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Really? Hmp, obviously not as powerful as her brother."
[Radio: (D) Public] Metal Man transmits, "..DOPPLER YOU FOOL YOU KILLED US ALL!"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Red Bomber: Crash Man transmits, "Stop talking about her you idiots!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "And if I have?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Metal Man transmits, "Then I pray to Wily that I get to listen to your death screams before I die."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "I have no patience for someone who mocks the grief of those who have lost loved ones. I have no compassion for those that call being infected a weakness that deserves death."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn playfully, "Doppler, Doppler, come on come on now, please play with me?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G laughs. "Fiesty one, aren't you, Doctor Gate?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "Hmm."
Dr. Doppler currently has his back to the door, hands gripped firmly on the side of one of the many reinforced shelves that line the walls. He grunts in effort as he slowly tips the laden shelf. Afer about a twenty degree angle, gravity takes over, and the entire thing crashes to the ground. All kinds of wonderful half-formed inventions break on impact with the floor, their pieces skittering around until Newton's Laws come into play and force them to stop.
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Burn in hell, Daryn."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "After you."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "The joy is overwhelming"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Name your next kid Dope. After you."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "Honestly, you people have no respect at all."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "None for the weak."
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "It's public radio."
Wincing at the crash which seems to be magnified about twenty times over through the open doorway, Alexandria turns sideways and slowly squeezes through the opening. Breathing heavily from the exhertion of moving with the help of the drone she leans back against the bent doorway, using the indention as a makeshift seat. "Master Doppler..." she says, her voice winded. "What is...wrong?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate doesn't even dignify Buster's comment with a response. "Yes. You get to hear all sorts of inanities here."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "I somehow imagine you wouldn't be laughing if Dr. Wily was killed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "I would be."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "Or if Scott Wily were killed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "/No/ one would laugh if their leaders were killed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "...I would."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Ah, but he /won't/ be."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Of course we wouldn't! He's our father! Doppler's entitled to mourn his son, but that doesn't mean -we- have to!"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "Yeah, take care of his own."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "Then you can shut the hell up and let him mourn in PEACE, numbskull!"
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "He can turn off the f*cking radio."
[Radio: (D) Public] Enker transmits, "Respect, however, would not be entirely out of place."
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "I think I'd like to toss mine out sometime."
[Radio: (D) Public] Voice-filtered Fey transmits, "Finally, a Robot Master that talks sense."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gate transmits, "Agreed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Raffinato Donnaiolo transmits, "However something compels me to keep this frequency...on."
Dr. Doppler barely realizes he's being addressed, and for the moment the name of the person speaking to him escapes him. Not that it matters.. "Dead," he says. "Dead!" he repeats. "DEAD!" The last is accentuated with him tipping over another shelf.
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "...Well, okay, Enker..."
Putting her hands over her ears to muffle the ungodly loud sounds that echo within her ears, Alexandria waits for the doctor to finish with his current tirade before speaking again. "Who...? Who is dead?
[Radio: (G) None] General Vile transmits, "I have Sigma's remains, if you are interested, doctor."
The doors to the Medbay slide open, letting in the robed Psychogenesis.. He limps casually towards one of the Medical Beds, seeming to favor his right side. His movements are slow and quite casual.. and although his form is hidden under the robes, one can tell he's not doing so well.
[Radio: (G) None] General Vile transmits, "However, I do not think you will be able to resurrect him from... the scraps I have sitting before me."
Dr. Doppler beats his fist against a file cabinet, the metal buckling in a most satisfying manner. Luckily, the only real casualty thus far is some poor cleaning droid in the wrong place at the wrong time. Its remains lie in a crumpled heap near the door. "Sigma!" he answers. Then, it's as if the mere speaking of his son's name is enough to shift his emotions. "Sigma..." he says, softly. Sorrowfully. "My son...my son is dead..."
Vile arrives from the Computer Core - MavBerlin.
Vile has arrived.
Alexandria's eyes widen at the name in utter disbelief. The powerful Emperor of the Mavericks gone? It simply can't be true. He was so powerful... more than that he was a monster of destruction. Pushing off from the doorway the girl stumbles forwards until she stands right behind Doppler. Pain shoots throughout her entire form but she endures it by clenching her fists into tight balls, partly out of anger. She can't say she was ever really thankful to any of the Mavericks. After all they did force her into servitude against her will and still hold her entire village hostage as incentive to keep her loyal. But Sigma had ideals. He wasn't like the common reploids who saw only revenge. "Who... who could have done such a thing?!" she askes, her voice incredulous.
The door to Doppler's lab stands only a third way open, prevented from widening further due to the horrific dent in its center. What little can be glimsed from inside is a mess. The tables are overturned, the shelves methodically wrenched to the floor one by one. The poor cleaning drone that tried to interfere is a crushed pile of scrap. Doppler leans forward against the dented file cabinet. "Mein sohn..." he says, lapsing into German.
Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk.
Skitter. Skitter. Skitter.
Creak.
The door opens, ponderously, whomever outside assessing the damage in an attempt to ascertain how to open it. Finally, with a groan, they are bent even further to allow access. Two forms enter through the newly enlarged hole, one of them the Maverick general, Vile, and the other a large mechanical centipede curled up into a wheel with a green sphere as the hub.
"Doppler," greets the reploid of the pair, perhaps a bit on the mocking side.
The hood of the Prophet is pushed back to reveal a charred, venetian mask.. from behind which a teal and a crimson eye examine the site of Doppler's door. His optics narrow slightly at the thought of some treachery.. and Psychogenesis strides forward, against the will of his body to collapse and decompose all at once.. As Vile and his companion enter and pass, Psychogenesis steps aside to let them open the way. And then, he slips in behind them.. trying to figure out exactly what's going on.
Dr. Doppler's expression darkens, and while it may not be seen by the others, it is reflected in his voice. "Vile," he says, spitting it out as if a curse. "Get out. Spare me your speech and leave me in peace."
The sudden ear-splitting screech of the doors being ripped open overwhelms the small girl's heightened senses and she collapses to the floor, covering the sides of her head with both arms to try and block out the pain. With more than alittle discipline and will-power she forces one eye open to scan the form of the new arrival.
Ignoring the others, Vile shakes his helmeted head, laughing that same, hollow laugh that cuts to the bone with its lack of passion.
"Very well, Doppler. No speeches for now. But, I have a gift for you. A little late for Easter, however." Knowing Vile's contempt for humanities like holidays, this must be interesting indeed.
With a beckoning of his hand, the centipede uncurls, the glowing sphere dissolving into energy. There, on its broad back, is something that justifies whatever previous interest the others may have... very... well.
Vile drops Sigma's Remains.
Psychogenesis has partially disconnected.
Psyche's ever-still face tilts casually, looking between Doppler, Lex, and Vile.. However, when Vile reveals his intentions, optics narrow dangerously. Psychogenesis studies the remains of Sigma.. He studies them for a moment, then returns his look to Vile, as he steps further into Doppler's domain. "You find this funny? ...Interesting."
---
Sigma's Remains
Here is the remaining pieces of the would-be savior of the Reploid world: Sigma, in his Kaiser, or Imperial form. Several small, partially melted chunks of what seems to be internal structuring, and a titanic right boot are the last memories of the once mighty emperor.
---
Under most conditions, Doppler endures Vile's sharp tongue and mocking tone. This is not 'most conditions.'
The semi-silence that marks the end of Vile's words is broken by the squeal of twisting metal. Doppler's hands dig into the side of the already maligned file cabinet, then heft it above his head. His expression is one of a man in torment, hazel eyes wild, hair disheveled. He pivots on foot, almost like a discus thrower, and hurls the massive object at Vile. "HRAAAAAH!" Woe be to anyone between them...or behind them for that matter.
Fortunately Alex is already on the ground or she would have hit the deck like a beached whale. She closes her eyes and hers her hands firmly pressed against the side of her head. This is about to get loud.
While Vile doesn't think much of Doppler's ability, he is a cyborg, and that cabinet was heavy. Thusly, he steps forward, lowers his shoulder, and barrels into the projectile like a linebacker. With a huge clang, the object changes directions and crashes into the ground after losing much of its momentum to the impact.
"Angry, Doppler? Emotional? Exactly."
Proving this unexplained point, Vile stands fully, and would smirk if someone could see him.
Psyche backs to the wall as the filing cabinet goes flying across the room.. only to be haulted by Vile's charge and pushed into the floor. He winces slightly at the tense situation, then tilts his head curiously in reaction to the purple robot. "My, my.. Do I detect a hint of someone taking advantage over a certain situation? Or is the loss of our leader so great, Vile, that your venue of relief is to act as if it had no impact on you whatsoever? Denial, as it were? ...Do tell."
The file cabinet comes to rest at the base of one of the overturned tables, the two colliding with a metallic clang.
It makes no difference as to whether Doppler can see Vile's face. The similarities between father and son are more evident, the sneer of anger twisting the doctor's face not unlike ones seen on Sigma when truly angered. "Get out!" he shrieks, snatching up a convenient lab stool and brandishing it one-handed as he strides toward the Maverick general. "Get out!"
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "*beeping noise indicating an incoming transmission*"
Standing like a monolith, the only thing that moves on Vile's person is his shouldercannon. Twisting to address Doppler, it fires a small, pinging shot of energy at the stool that would nonetheless blow it to pieces.
Not waiting for Doppler's response, he turns on his heel, and strides out of the room without further incident, save one last quip.
"Save your energy, Doppler. We both know what is coming."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "Um... are any of the Maverick Hunters listening?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man impersonates Dr. Light. "I am!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Glaive transmits, "Yes I am."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light sighs. "Yes, Miss Coriolis?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Durandal transmits, "Yo?"
[Radio: (D) Public] String pull. Dr. Wily cackles! 'MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!'
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "I know what she's about to ask."
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "May I assist in any repairs?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "Um. Whichever one of you is /really/ Dr. Light... um... *deep breath* What's - the situation?"
Psychogenesis crosses his arms over his chest, watching the two of them.. As Vile would threaten Doppler with the shouldercannon, nerves inside the lanky reploid would begin to unhinge and spark.. Not that he could do anything about it, mind you.. but within his mind, a new concept of Vile is formed. For the moment, he says nothing.. he merely waits to see how Doppler wishes to handle the situation.
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn records for prosperity.
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "My dear, forgive me, but which situation?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "Old man. You know. The OTHER girl."
After a minute or two of cowering on the floor with her eyes shut Alexandria risks a peek by opening one eye in time to see Vile stalk out of the labratory. Hoping that the last of the noise is over she slowly lowers her arms and uses them to prop herself up against the side of an overturned file cabinet with sigh and a wince. For now the girl just sits quietly, watching to see what happens next. She feels horribly insignificant right about now but that's not necissarily a bad thing. People don't throw things at you.
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "The dead one."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis sounds shaky! "With, with Luz, sir." And then she makes a choked sort of sniffly noise, probably due to Master interference.
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light transmits, "We have restored her body, my dear, so we can give her a decent funeral. I sent her back with Quiet Man."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "... oh. A-all right. Thank you."
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "*waits a bit before continuing* We shouldn't give up hope. Sigma's been dead before, he came back. The Empire isn't lost yet. You're the best reploid designer ever, if something can be found..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "You should prep yerself for the funreal, girl. You can ask for Quint for any dresses you might want. He'll give good advice."
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man snorts.
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "You two masters be quiet! Don't you have any shame?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Ten transmits, "Bad Wilybot! No taunting!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Heya Rip."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "I'm not taunting!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "Shame?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "I'm serious!"
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "but there has to be something he can return to...The reports show the Coalition in dissaray. Now is the time to be strong. According to Maverick propaganda, Sigma himself doesn't believe himself neccessary to run the Coalition. But someone has to in his absence. If the Empire falls, then there is no hope, right?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "Well, um, are any of - of them listening?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Riptide, don't try to lecture us."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "I could've killed you that day."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Rip! Hiii!!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "Should have, more like it."
Dr. Doppler barely flinches as the stool explodes, schrapnel slicing a gash across his forehead and cheek. The rest fly against the wall and ceiling. He manages to retain the one leg by which he held it, but only long enough to hurl it at Vile after he strides out the door. He grinds his teeth, too furious for words...
...and then his gaze falls upon the remains of the Emperor.
This brings Doppler to his knees, falling heavily as if the joints could no longer support him. He stares dumbly at what could not even be called a corpse for a long moment. Then, for the second time in the course of a week, the doctor's eyes brim with tears.
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Someone needs to. Your dad's off being weird."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Light sighs, softly.
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Color lady!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Hi Top! C'mon guys. Cut them a break for once."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Knock it off guys.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "I'll knock YOU off, Dust."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I did my taunting, Enker said to stop so I did. How're you?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Leave him alone, jerk. He's the only one of you so far that's had any sort of decency!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "Precisely why he must be purged!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I'm fine Top. Just busy lately. I saw what happened on the news, and I was pretty shocked."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "And then I turn on my radio, and hear all this..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Quick. I don't want to have to beat you up for real.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Quick Man transmits, "Oh please."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "Shove it, you twos."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Alright Cut. I'll be happy."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "(Happy TO)"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man can be heard flailing slightly. "I'm a nice Master sometimes! And yeah... Kinda scary to think it all happened so fast... At least it means we've got a chance to rise up to the top! What're you up to right now, Color Lady?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Ten transmits, "Oh! I found this *AWESOME* new hat today!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Well, I was getting ready for an expedition, but with the mess in Italy, I'm going to volunteer to help with clean-up."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "You're such a nice reploid!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "They going to need every help they can get. If there anyone surviving in there, that is."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I wish I could do something for Dr. Doppler. He must be hurting so much..."
The optics shift from Doppler to Sigma.. and without skipping a bit, Psyche whips the robes off of his form--revealing what horrible damage he still holds from the fight the night previous; striding three steps forward to knee by Sigma's remains. As he kneels, the robes float lightly down, and he covers them. "Father.." he intones in a light voice, "If never before I was able to prove that I would stand by your side despite any matter.. then let it be now." His optics move from the robes that cover Sigma back to the form of the Doctor, "This.. This is within the realm of Temporary. I have not prided myself to learning your works and studying your methodology in Robotics and the Reploid Mind to let something like this sieze my core. No.. I would dedicate every free moment of my life.. To help you rebuild Lord Sigma... bigger.. Better. If it is within you to do so... Then I will see to it that it is -Done-."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "No you don't. If you got close to him, he'd probably -infect- you!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "If it made him feel better, I'd let him rip me apart."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "That's some pretty heavy dedication."
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "...Very well, Doctor. I guess I should prepare then. Please remember your other children."
[Radio: (D) Public] Ten transmits, "Yeah, he was so sad earlier. Poor guy, I can't imagine what he's going through."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I don't wantcha to go Maverick. That'd mean I'd have to destroy you."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Dedication is all I have. I'm not powerful, I'm not strong, and I have no allies." She pauses. "Thank you though, Top. I've gotten used to being ripped up anyways. Ask your brother Bass."
[Radio] You send Gabriel a direct message: "*radio picks up a few traces of sound...weeping?*"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Everyone gets ripped apart by Bass eventually!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Enker transmits, "I can empathise with Sigmund's plight, however, the fact remains that Sigma was a madman. A genocidal fool. His death may indeed free humanity."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "So I've heard."
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Doppler..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Glaive transmits, "Indeed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I can't speak for Sigma. I never met him. But Bit was nice enough, and so were a few other Mavericks I met. I just feel bad for anyone that loses family."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Sigma wasn't.. mean."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "He was.. collected."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "He was a loonie. And don't you guys dare I speak behind the dead, I was not afraid to say it when he was alive."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite giggles faintly. "I have to wonder what Bass would think if I showed up for... a church service."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man erfs. "Riptide.. he might blow you up for sport.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I think he'd forgive you! Probably wouldn't apologize for ripping a hole in your chest, though."
Alexandria remains silently sitting nearby, listening to the sorrows of the Mavericks. Somehow she feels detached from all this. It wasn't her fight to begin with. But has the war now truely become her responsibility as well? With Sigma's death everything will change. Great leaders do not simply pass without a wake of change behind them. How will this affect her and her village? The girl is very confused and the pain gnawing away at her head and body aren't helping her to concentrate any clearer. Instead of getting in the way she pushes gradually to her feet a mask of pain covering her face as she does so, but she manages. Once Lex has taken the time to recover her strength she begins to follow the wall towards the damaged doorway.
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I don't think I would expect that from him. And even if he did, so what? I've gotten accustomed to being killed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite OOC er, even if he did kill me.
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "So have I.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "I think I die two times a month.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Four times in a bad month."
Dr. Doppler sheds bitter tears, weeping almost silently as Psychogenesis shrouds the remains with an offering of his own cloak. Grief does not become him, but humans and reploids alike must at times mourn. Dimly he begins to realize others are speaking to him, one before him, the other whispering in his radio. The latter is answered first.
[Radio] You send Gabriel a direct message: "Hello, Gabriel."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I still think I could take Wave Man."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I'd rather dance than fight, right now! I'm in such an awesome mood after that speech Dad gave!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I wish I could have heard it, Top."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "You are a great fighter Rip. You did well against the Ride Armor."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "You masters never cease to surprise me. Some of you are such pleasant, fun, gentlemen, and some of you are ... jerks."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "We actually endeavor," "to be both at once."
[Radio] Gabriel sends you a tightbeam radio transmission: "Hello. They are children, they need a parent. You're strong."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "A group of children, if you would."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Hehe! Thanks!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "It's a terrible pity I couldn't have stayed in your fortress. I would have been happy to serve."
[Radio: (D) Public] Air Man transmits, "I like to think of us as pleasant, fun jerks."
[Radio: (D) Public] Air Man transmits, "As gemini said."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "You could live in Africa and see if Wily likes you.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I have met the doctor before."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "We accept anyone who would like to move to Africa."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "A bit... unusual, but he seemed pretty nice."
Psyche's optics flicker from Doppler to Alexandria.. and he watches her hobble along the wall. She needs to be tended to.. and he'll make it a priority. However, his worry at the moment is for his Father; and so his optics turn back to settle on the Doctor, the teal left optic shimmering brightly from behind the venetian mask. One of his leatherbound hands reaches up casually, unstrapping the back of the mask, and then he drops the ever-still face into his hand.. revealing his true face to Doppler. A quite handsome face, almost human in look. The two different colored eyes examining him carefully. "This is not an idle offer, Father... I am quite serious. If it took pieces from my own neural net to revitalize his.. if my power core is all that it might take to make his optics glow.. Then you already have the pieces you need to begin work. But so long as my arms move and my mind races... there can be a design to Sigma's Ressurection."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "We can even help you find an apartment after all that radiation clears."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Oh, Dad is wonderful! I won a Get out a free Bass Beatdown card!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Oh, he's quite enjoyable to be around as long as you don't disagree with him."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Dad's the best! Come live in Africa! Join the Church of Bass! Help us in our goal! And join us in our games!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Well, I'm afraid that my father would probably be pretty unhappy with me if I did, however. And I have a third of the company's stock, and a lot of work to do. Especially around the waters in Italy now. I'll be putting all my efforts into radiation cleanup."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Well. In your spare time, at least?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "You could visit.. This time there won't be a Ride Armor blowing things up!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Of course. I try to remain neutral, so that I don't become too narrow minded. I judge people by how they are and who they are, not who they swear allegiance too."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "You're such an awesome, nice reploid!!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man nods. "You have to be the most intelligent robot there is."
Slowly, painfully, Doppler's mind begins working again. The two different fonts of wisdom guide him far enough out of the grief to see the world again. "Yes..." he says quietly, voice husky. He raises a hand, rubbing his temples. "See to the living, Psychogenesis. For now. The dead will take more time."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "Umm... are any of the, um, Irregular Overlords listening at the moment?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Yes?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Yes, Riptide is so intelligent that she went to sleep in the Dreadskull."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I just try to help worthy causes. That's why I stood up for Dust Man at the Ivory Coast."
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "So intelligent that Bass nearly ripped out her core."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I didn't sleep there, retard."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "W-well, um. Could I contact you more directly?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Ah, Riptide is a Reploid of the highest order of 'D'urrrr' factor."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Pirate Man had me chained inside it. I was just trying to get out."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "And tell me, what good would it have done to fight against Bass anyways?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Then you let yourself be captured by _Pirate Man._"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Everyone's entitled to their mistakes... And it's no good to fight Bass. You'll lose!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Which is actually even worse."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I was naive. It's not like I was born knowing who all you people are!"
Despite her wish not to be a burden it was rather foolish for the girl to have gotten out of bed so quickly in the first place. The toll of her strain quickly catches up with her and she goes crashing to the ground just a few inches away from the door. Looking down at her feet Alex sees that a large piece of metal tripped her up. Funny. That wasn't there was it? The cyborg closes her eyes tightly and opens them again only to find that she had four legs instead of two now. Groaning she just lies her head down between her hands and closes her eyes.
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Oh /really/, Top Man?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Then your programmer was a moron making YOU a moron."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Does /everyone/ that fights Bass lose?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Wily. Do you think Elec needs to shut the hell up? *pull string* 'MWUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!'"
[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Not everyone. I remember General stepping on him once."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite giggles.
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Bass is scary in an awesome way- ...Dust? Is that the Wily doll you stole yesterday?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Bass was rather inconvienenced."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Nope! It's one Wily made!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Did General have to scrape Bass off his shoe?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Elec Man transmits, "Dust, don't make me go down to whereever the hell you are and rip your duct off. I'm not in the mood for _you._"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Cool!! I wanna see it some time! Authentic dad's-laughter! Woohoo!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Hmp, Masters, you tell Bass something for me, since he doesn't appear to be listening."
Psychogenesis nods once, turning away from Doppler and the covered remains of Sigma.. He straps the mask back to his face, and then turns to see that Alexandria has fallen. He quickly steps towards her, kneeling at her side.. "Lie still," he whispers, slipping his arms beneath her, lifting her into the air. He turns to give another look to Doppler, adding quietly, "You need only call upon me." With that, he turns and steps out of the Doctor's office.. moving briskly to carry Alex and set her gently down upon a free Medbed.
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "You tell him to stay alive for the next several months. Alive and in TOP condition."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "I think he should more say that to ya."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "I'm going away for a while, and when I come back, I want to kill a real foe."
[Radio: (D) Public] Prismatic Spider transmits, "Someone more on your power level?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Huh? Oh, I don't think that'll be a problem. Bass is awesome! ..and scary..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "And when I return, he'll be /dead/. Pass that along, Masters."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Do shut up."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "What I get for it?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "uh-huh- whate-- Eek!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "I meant that to the Underlord."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Oh, good. You heard yourself. I didn't want to have to rely on those idiots you call an army."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "We're not idiots! We're just misunderstood!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "You aren't telling me anything I don't know."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Hello Bass."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G chuckles. "Remember Bass, stay alive. Look to the skies in several months, I promise I'll be back, if only to kill you."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gabriel transmits, "Man, he talks almost as much as in the old holovids."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I bet you get this kind of foreplay all the time, don't you Bass?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Rip, Rip! Can you come dance yet?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite laughs. Impatient master. "Not yet, but soon, okay!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I rarely get foreplay, Reploid. Everyone always wants the finale but none of the buildup. There are very true destruction artists in this world."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Yaaay!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "....That was.. deep in a way."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I'm sorry I wasn't built for combat, I'd love to challenge you on an equal field."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Very well, Buster Rod G. I will see you if you return from ... THE NEXT DIMENSION."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "There is no way he'll survive King Kai's training!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G makes a contemptuous sound. "Try to stay somewhat sane while I'm there, too.
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I am quite sane."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "He is. He's just cruel."
[Radio: (D) Public] Buster Rod G transmits, "Good, then you'll have little difficulty staying that way."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Nothin' wrong with cruel when it's Bass's cruel."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Well, _I_ had a problem with it, Top."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Oh, right...."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "I mean, I understand the tactical necessity of getting rid of an intruder, but c'mon. That whole 'pretend to be all nice' and 'holy deity' thing is pretty tired."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "But Bass is a diety. He's scary like that. I think I'm glad I wasn't there to witness that happening..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "If he were a deity he wouldn't get blown up, period."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "But Jesus died, didn't he?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Enker transmits, "He got better."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Yeah, but he doesn't keep dying over and over."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "That's true.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I did not die."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "You have before."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Bass dissappeared so he could come back and prove how awesome he was!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Actually. He didn't die."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Okay."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "He just really really really really hurt himself."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "If he were a god, he wouldn't get hurt at all."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I have never "died"."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Okay, you were really beat up then."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "I think we are all speaking in different states of mind.."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Tell you what, Bass. If you can prove to me that you're -really- a god, I will personally come and kiss your feet in your own little church."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Very well. Define a god."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Are you sure you wanna say that? He might rip your core our agai--OUH! Look! What a cute kitty!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "There! The kitty is there! How CUTE!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Bah., I'm used to being destroyed. I've gotten kinda callous about living." Thoughtful noise. "Okay. A God would be able to bend the laws of reality, is immortal, impervious to injury, eternal, omipotent, omnipresent, and be able to create or destroy whatever he or she wishes."
[Radio: (D) Public] Air Man transmits, "Not necessarily completely impervious to injury, but immortal. At least as far as I know."
[Radio: (D) Public] Demolition Man transmits, "Kitty!!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Demolition Man THUMP. "...owww. Kitty's a painting..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Guts Man has a Kitty."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Ha ha! This kitty is real! It's a calico! Aww...she likes me..!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "Bend the laws of reality. I can control quantum singularities and violate laws of thermodynamics with my Buster. Check. Immortal, eternal. Check. Impervious to injury. Functionally correct; my parts are interchangable, and I cannot be scarred. Omnipotent? I have never been weaker than the challenges put before me. Omnipresent? I can merge with the computer world and see through a million sensors. Create and destroy whatever I wish? I toy with matter and energy, it's a trifling matter."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cassilda Coriolis transmits, "Can you bring back the dead?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I have people for such things."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "But can you give life? Can you take nonliving matter and create living, breathing things? You destroy very well. But you cannot truly create."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I could make a Reploid."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "You guys are never gonna convince him."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "We mean, he's ego's way too huge. He won't listen."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Anyone can make a reploid. Can you make a new life form?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Glaive transmits, "Hey...Reploids are life forms."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "Yes, yes. /Anyone/ can make a reploid. Phah."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Well, Dr. Gauss made _me_."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I most certainly could, Doctor Doppler."
[Radio: (D) Public] The Book of Daryn transmits, "You're not /Anyone/, though, You're Bass!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "You know, it might not be a bad idea, Bass. Maybe you -should- make a reploid. Become a father. Then you might know what it's like to suffer when you see your offspring killed."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I don't think I could make a reploid... And the thought of Bass as a father scares me..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Isaac transmits, "I wonder how does one obtain unobtainium after all there are three known busters in extiance..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "I don't know.. it might be interesting."
[Radio: (D) Public] Bass transmits, "I am not cursed with these soft feelings of yours."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Bass might actually make a good father. I mean, he has to keep guys like Elec Man and Gemini Man in line."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Well, Bass scares me period. Hey, Rip, can you danncee yeeeettt?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite chuckles. "Someone get this boy some downers."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I'm immune! Wheeee!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "I tried, Riptide. It's like trying to stop Quick Man from drinking."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "In fact.. I think Crash Man still has beer inside of him."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "That's scary."
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "Hehe-- ohh.. Aww, kitty, come back! Poo..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "Crystal Man has a watch inside of him."
[Radio: (D) Public] Riptide Trilobite transmits, "Well, at any rate, it was actually very pleasant to talk to Bass. I forgive him."
<Global News Network> "A quick bulleting from Neo Tokyo.. it looks like the Robot Master Quick Man is up to no good! We go to a camera live in the area.." Cut to a shot of a street in Tokyo. Quick Man, in full armor, is shown standing beside two blow-up dolls.. one that looks like Zero, and one that looks like Blues. Quick Man pulls out a small control with a red button on it. The crowd gasps and pulls back. He walks over behind the blow-up doll of Zero, and shouts, in a pretty bad imitation of the Hunter's voice, "Yo, Sigma! You pissed me off! You killed my friend, and now I'm gonna kill you, rrrrgh!" He makes the doll flail around a little, and then shouts "Oh no, Sigma shot me, aiieeee!" Then Quick moves over behind Blues, changing his voice "Here I am! I'm insane! Suck nuclear death! I hate you all!" Then he blurrs to the side and presses the button on his remote. Both dolls detonate in small balls of fire, scraps of melted plastic flying outwards into the crowd, who shriek and run away, while Quick Man laughs uproariously.
[Radio: (D) Public] Gabriel transmits, "Very well. You called this upon yourself."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "......"

[Radio: (D) Public] Job transmits, "10k US eh?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "Your gonna put some kind of bounty up?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Cossack transmits, "Not a bounty so much. Zeir is rubbish on street of Neo Tokyo. I vill pay ten t'ousand dollars to haff it ... removed. By conversion into energy."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Cossack transmits, "All are eligible."
[Radio: (D) Public] Cut Man transmits, "Oh."

[Radio: (D) Public] Job transmits, "I can do that..."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "NOOOOOOO!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "(OOC: Damn you all to hell, you swine.)"

[Radio: (D) Public] Crescent Grizzly transmits, "Ah'd luv' tah', Doctah'. But deh' 'force is stretched 'tin."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dust Man transmits, "NO!!!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "OOC: Thank you. Please remember that many of us are lazy, otherwise we would not be MUSHERs, ya know? :)"
[Radio: (D) Public] Top Man transmits, "I would so take that offer up, but..But.. Quick is one of my favorite Brothers! Sorry!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Cute, but not funny, Quick."
[Radio: (D) Public] Dr. Doppler transmits, "OOC: went to some trouble t find out how to say that. Sue me. :]"
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "(OOC) Exactly, and we'd all have to go to equal trouble translating it. ;p"
[Radio: (D) Public] Shadow Man transmits, "OOC: Faul ist so Faul tun!"
[Radio: (D) Public] Dynamo transmits, "Ten thousand dollars, eh?"
[Radio: (D) Public] Foucalt transmits, "Hey Dynamo? If you get him before one of ours does, be sure to rip the boomerang from his head."
[Radio: (D) Public] Pirate Princess Tron Bonne transmits, "...Go get 'im, Dynamo."
[Radio: (D) Public] Gemini Man transmits, "Ten thousand? That's all?"
